flowers

My very favorite color.....purple, lavender---and all the shades in between.....Though I love all colors and I always have....This flower is just stunning, isn't it
This Rose above is really beautiful, too.....I love the many subtle colors in this one.....And below---here is another view of another Rose in the same shades..... And two is never enough for me....So, here below is a third one......Ahhhhh, how wonderful to be so excessive....... And here below.....a beautiful shocking pink Rose.....A gorgeous deep pink....such a beautiful color.....Good enough to eat, I think.....? Yummm Yummmm Yummmmmmmm! Oooooooo......Here is a Lavender baby.....love, love, love this, too.....The colors of the rainbow are all in nature.....Below.....here is a yellow beauty...... These all look almost unreal....like maybe they were made of silk. Well, the weren't. They were all "real" living, breathing exquisite flowers from nature.....It is so wonderful that I can capture them with my camera at a moment of such gorgeousness.......! Someone else thinks so too..... Sweetie is always interested in the flowers, though he never chews on them or anything like that....He seems to have the same awesome feeling about nature as I do.....Of course, he doesn't go outside so he never gets to see these flowers below..... These are some really delicate yellow Cactus Flowers that bloom in clusters.....They are pretty amazing. Of course, these are not flowers you can snip off the plant and display in a bowl---they wouldn't last for any length of time at all......Below, a closer look at some of these beautiful exotic clusters...... And then....below.....a really close look at one blossom on this lovely Cactus plant........So very delicate.....complex.....and special, just like the plant that produced it.......Nature Sings.........

More To Come...........

I love cactus blooms. I recall a very enjoyable spring hike in Arizona where the desert seemed alive with color. Thanks for conjuring up that memory.

Cheers.

Beautiful flowers, Naomi! I especially liked the first one. I'm a huge fan of purple, indigo and lavendar.

I'm glad Sweetie has an admiration and respect for nature as well. You're right, he does has the perfect name! I love seeing photos of him...and I'm seeing cats EVERYWHERE lately (on blogs, around my son's school, and now my friend says she's looking for a home for a gray and white cat she found). I really want an orange kitty, but who knows...I may fall in love with this one.

Have a great weekend, my friend!!

PS - I added "The September Issue" to my queue; it should arrive any day now!!

What beautiful colours. I love the way Sweetie is looking at the flowers too but doesn't chew them. Our cats would have eaten the whole lot and then puked them up over the carpet!

Beautiful roses! I wish I could grow them. I also wish I could photograph them like you do!

Also, I really enjoy the pictures of the 'tile house' -- it is so interesting to see the broad view from afar then examine up close to see the intricasies involved in creating the whole. Can you tell us where it is located? I would love to drive by and see for myself some time!

What a wonderful flowers and fantastic colors, Naomi! Love all them...each one is more beautiful than other...
Love seeing Sweetie smell the flowers!
I am curious... why Sweetie doesn't go outside?

PS: Only now I could come here, because yesterday my connection was very slow.

Beautiful, beautiful photos of those gorgeous flowers. You really do capture their soul with your photos. I am hoping the cactus will still be blooming when I get to Tucson probably in early May. They are in many ways inaccessible, untamed, can't put them into any vase, and the most beautiful of blossoms.
