The Celebrations of this incredible Milestone have been going on since September, when she was Honored at Theatre West's 50th Anniversary Event!
That is how I know Connie. I met her back in 1963 and she was full of 'piss and vinegar' then, and she still is now.
Above, with Ed Asner, at another 'event' in which she was honored by her peers.....And by the way, if you want to see her in action, tune in to "Two Broke Girls" on December 17th on CBS! She also just did a commercial for Acura---I don't know when that will be on, but look for it, too!
I called her today to wish her Happy Birthday---she was getting ready to go to the Party that was being held at The Motion Picture Home out in Woodland Hills, where she resides. She has a cottage there--lucky her!
She said...."Let me call you tomorrow when I will be home and I can put my feet up because of my edema...." That is just about the only thing wrong with her.....lol.
She is amazing! Full of life and she has 'all her marbles', as they say....I mean, she is Incredible!
Above, with Russell Brand, at an event given by the Motion Picture and Television Relief Fund, who's motto is---"We Take Care Of Our Own".
They had 100 Cupcakes in Honor of Connie's 100th Birthday.... I hope they Celebrate this fantastic milestone till next November 27th!
One of the first things Connie said to me today was, "God I miss Betty Garrett!" It brought me to tears---I do too!
Connie still drives, by the way, and while during the last few years of Betty's life, Connie would pick her up and they would go to their 'Show Buddy's' gatherings!
So, there she is....the fabulous Connie Sawyer, beloved by one and all..... 100 years old!

A Standing Ovation For Our Dear Connie....
Long May She Wave......
More To Come.......
Note: 3pm Wednesday...Connie is on her way into Hollywood to audition for a Bank Of America commercial....! AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING!
Note: It will be back to Halloween 3, next time, my dears......
Thursday is Thanksgiving and I want to wish each and everyone of you the most wonderful Thanksgiving, ever!
And now, back to Halloween.....
Sorry it is all taking so long, but that's just how things are these days.....
Here is the Beautiful Seemah---looking kind of like Joan Baez....She had some problems with her wig and the lovely Lee M. helped her, as best she could, to make it right!
Darling Lee didn't have time to come up with an elaborate costume because she is so busy working....But, she had on an adorable Halloween Top......
And, if you look carefully, there I am in the background.....And here is a closer look at my Halloween get-up!
Given my physical limitations, this was about the best I could do....A Pumpkin top and a bright green wig---with NO Makeup....lol! I just couldn't get the make-up part together.....
We were just six that day.....and our last "Lady" was the wonderful delightful fantastically talented Maxine Stuart.....
Dear Maxine forgot she was to "dress-up" in a Costume....and she was over an hour late, But....God Bless her, she is 94! She has a great sense of humor and is so much fun to be with......
So.....then, we were seated at the table.....and as our Luncheon Plates were made ready, "Will" served some White Wine and some Sparkling Cider for those who preferred it.....
At this point, both Annie and I took off our wigs---temporarily----They really began to hurt our heads....lol.....
Finally....Here is the Halloween celebration.....! The table was set and the Gift Bags placed....
These very soft and adorable Orange Bears were a big hit!
And so were the flowers.....Plus.....I had found a very special cup that says it all!
"Ladies Who Lunch"! Who would have thought I would find such a lovely cup that actually said this? Below, a closer look at that darling Orange Bear.....
And then.....dear Dianne T. arrived as "The Mad Hatter"!
And there she is--"The Mad Hatter" eating some Jicima......Next came "Sugar"....well, Annie G., as 'Sugar'......
Here is a little Video of "Sugar".....!
And there will be.......
More To Come.......
Note: On November 13th, 1970, I had my first "Smoke Free" day in 24 years. I started smoking at 16 years old. So, today....it is now 42 years that I have not smoked! Yayyyy Me!
