So exciting and how lucky you were to be able to capture the moments of the fly by from your balcony!
Not only is the new blogger a challenging, it is impossible to use from my iPad. I've deleted text by accident...and I don't know how it happened.
I'm so glad that you were able to take these pics, Naomi. You are right, it's a once in a lifetime opportunity to see it fly right by your house! No more space shuttles after this one. I've always been awed by the technology.... even the fact that it can be carried around strapped to the roof of a 747 amazes me. Hooray for you and your quick thinking with your camera.
Fantastic pictures!!
personally I think they flew over because they knew you were there :)
I'm so glad you got these great shots
thanks for sharing
That's fabulous!! What a fantastic thing to see with your own eyes. =)
I quite often head down to the airport here in Sydney Australia to do some spotting, and I am MOST envious to see you getting this overflying your house!!!!
Great stuff!!
That's fantastic! I'm so glad you got to see that.
I know you haven't been that interested in blogging lately, but I really, really missed your pre-Emmy blog post.
hmmm it seems my comment didn't take from the other day..
Your photo's made me smile! I felt as if we witnessed the beginning of space travel..and.. then end of something that shouldn't have ended. I know NASA will go on, slowly.. but we have lived in a most spectacular time Naomi!!
thank you for sharing this wonderful sight!!!!
I would love to have seen that!
I always wanted to see a shuttle launch and was absolutely gutted when the shuttle programme came to an end. I finished work early that day and rushed home to watch the shuttle launch via the news channel and internet.
Melanie and I are so happy you got to see this. How cool was that?! Oh, I posted a picture on my blog. Someone's trying to identify people in a photo. It's a long shot, but maybe.
Must have been an amazing sight! Truly. I can't imaging what it would have been like to be the pilot of that plane!
Just fantastic pictures, Naomi!
I am glad you took these amazing photos. Awesome!
About Blogger I agree with you! I need to redimension the photos one by one...and many times the photo shift the order...I must the double of the time to do a post, did you believe me? I am very upset with Blogger...
I hope you have a pleasant day!
Wow! Amazing that the world can just fly by your porch like that and that you were ready for those few seconds to document it!!
Nice shots!
There's an annual airshow just south of us every years. Sometimes we got and others we just stand on the sidewalk next to our condo and take pix like you did :)
Those are the best photos I have seen of it. Thanks so much for posting them :) It was indeed an historic moment
This is VERY exciting! You're right -- a once-in-a-lifetime experience!
What a perfect view and the shots came out great. What great pics, my friend...and yes, I know anything blogger "improves" takes us back a few years. Not good, but hang in there. I want to see more photos and hear more stories from you! xo
Hi Naomi!! What an exciting thing to see and how nice it is to always have that camera handy!!
I agree that blogger is a pain, and Facebook has been nearly impossible for me, so I seldom go there either. I hate it when they think they are improving things and it's not an improvement at all. You would think they would ask us first!!
I loved that cartoon you posted! I can almost see myself doing that....Haha!!! Hope you are doing well. xxoxx
It wasn't near enough to get a shot. Did get some nice images of roses and a dragonfly if I can wrap up writing about Denver):-
I find using Chrome as a search engine works best for posting.
Don't know why Google changed- Facebok was a way to get around the privacy rules- makes lists for marketing purposes more usable.
Awesome!!! Thanks for sharing this!
Oh Naomi, that is super exciting. you were very close to it by the looks of thos pictures. Thanks so much for taking them as I heard about it and had been thinking how much I would have liked to have seen it. And then I come to your blog and there it is. Was it loud? PS Glad you are back writing and posting again. We always miss you, you know. Hope you are well and doing ok. xx
Those photos are so cool!
I'm with you about "new" Blogger...I use it for a little something and it makes me want to pull my hair out.
Golly! how did you manage to contain yourself ? I would have been so excited I'd have dropped the camera. You are a pro in this as well as so many other artistic areas. ~Bravo!
hey there. long time no hear.. i have been busy with school and trying to keep grades up. but doing good. i have pix of us at our local amusement park last weekend. it was beautiful outside.
Wow I'm so impressed you managed to get the shots you did! Was it really noisy?
As for blogger I get this with the photos. What you need to do is when you go on the photo it will say left, centre, right, even if it says it's centred often it isn't so click on either right or left and it will move, then click on centred and it will move back into the right place.
That is so great that you got those shots! Thank you for sharing with us.
I do better with the latest edition of blogger by using Google Chrome.
Wow! That's really impressing that you managed to capture these wonderful shots. You can even see some details. Awesome!
How great you got to see it! What a treat!
I thought you might get to see it and am glad you got some pictures. I hoped they might swing up our way in a big wide turn from Disneyland and swing out -- would only have taken a very few minutes -- but wasn't to be. We had major aerospace firms, scientists here for so many years so would have been justified.
Wow - That was some flypast! An amazing piece of history!
Strange you mention the blogger changes, by the way.
The little thing that used to update when you make new posts seems to have stopped working as well.
Hi dear Naomi,
Yesterday me and Carlos saw on tv a documentary showing Endevor flying over Hollywood Hills. I think on you and come here to show to Carlos your great photos! I am glad you took these amazing pictures and capture the moments of the fly by from your balcony!
Many hugs.
