Me too. Can't help feeling guilty though.
The Men's triathlon this morning showed lovely parts of London.
Do you remember our prime minister John Major - after Maggie Thatcher? He should get an award for being the man who got the lottery to support our would be atheletes and my goodness what a result!
I wish the prize winners could think of words other than surreal and phenomenal:)
Glad you are enjoying London 2012!
I'm not watching but I'm glad you are enjoying the games so much. My partner and older daughter are too.
I have to admit London is looking good nowadays.
I've never been very interested in watching. I like some of the human interest stories but get so much of it just via the peripheral view. I know I'm a wet blanket about it but it seems to go on for so long! I'm glad you are enjoying it though.
And man oh man the 10+ bodies on the men's spring diving
Teams... Hubba hubba!
I am not watching so much the games, but I am enjoying principally the Equestrianism. I am glad you are having a nice time enjoying London 2012!
Have a pleasant week ahead, my dear.
sweet Gabby with the amazing smile captured my heart!
I'm with you Naomi! I love the Olympics! (summer and winter games!) so my reading keeps sitting next to my chair.. the same chair I sit in to watch the olympics lol..
I looked at the incredibly beautiful flowers you showed in your last two posts – lovely.
I am enjoying the Olympic Games too – it is so exciting to watch such great athletes.
Since we got rid of cable TV, I've not watched much. i have seen some things on the computer, though. What a testament to the human spirit!
I love the opening ceremony and I can't wait for the closing as well because I heard that the Spice Girls will be performing!
Isn't it wonderful? I'll be missing all the games and competition and I do love the gymnastics. Gabby has been my favorite all along. Phelps is just amazing, too, isn't he?
I haven't watched them night after night, and I can't remember their jackets, but I'll be looking for them now and thinking of you when I see what you mean.
Cheers and enjoy the rest of the Olympics! Love and hugs...Ily
I've been watching a lot, too, and will probably have more dreams about being back in London now, showing relatives around again. (I was there for 2 years (81 - 83) when I was active-duty Navy! Rode the double-decker red buses to work past Big Ben every day and looked at the fog going across the Thames. All those young hard-bodies almost inspired me to get out of the chair and go for a walk!
Hello!
What a nice blog! I like your topics, I hope we can be friends.
I have the same impression for Olympic this time, it seems so UNIVERSE, and I just realize, no matter who is winners, understanding that everyone has right to join and to win and see how sportivity can work to make us relate each other is already a big thing.
Regards from Belgium!
Hallo
I have watched some of the Olympics! London is great. I'd love to visit that city someday.
I admire all the competitors and winners of the Olympics! It's amazing what they can do and achieve! Very inspiring! xxoxx
It's great viewing and shows off London well. As you know, I was along for part of it at the Olympic Park, which was a very cheerful place and full of great things happening.
I also like the amount of London that has been shown off and I'm so glad the weather behaved!
Your American team did extremely well again!
