More To Come.......
Note: I'm still pretty overwhelmed with many "life" things, all of which have kept me away from visiting you all----I am struggling to just come up with a new post right now, so please do forgive me.....As you can see, it is very very early in the morning now....On top of everything else I am not getting much sleep.....This too shall pass......
I have never met a rose I didn't love! Hope you get your sleep issues sorted out!
Naomi I do hope you start getting some sleep. It makes it so hard to feel well during the day. I will be thinking of you and sending your warm wishes.
When you do these type prints I always think of Georgia O'Keeffe
I am not fond of pink...except for pink flowers and your pictures explain why!!! they are fantastic, love those shades.
Take good care of yourself!!
Hang in there, Naomi. Thinking of you and hoping everything is okay. I am amazed that, whatever you are dealing with, you still manage to brighten everyone's day with your lovely photos.
Dear Naomi,
Why not write a post on what is going on with you - the 'life' stuff, and all of us will send you so much love and good wishes and care that you are sure to feel better soon :)
((HUGS))
The peach rose at the top was my favorite... such delicately lovely gradations of color. How can anyone think that there isn't a God when you see that ?!?
Having trouble getting to sleep? Try this---Find a comfortable position lying on your back-- relax, then stare upward and imagine you are looking at the periwinkle blue Florida sky--no clouds, nothing within your field of vision, just that very special blue. The temperature is perfect and if you oncentrate, you'll hear the surf, even detect a slightly fishy smell (lol). You'll drift off to sleep pdq!
You need good solid sleep to keep on top of it all, so banish the illegitimi who seek to carborundum you from your consciousness!
More unsolicitd words of wisdom later
the fat lady
I bet they smell amazing!
Hi Naomi, I hope you're not ill. I too have been busy. I knew when I came to your blog, full of the stresses of politics and the law that I would come to an oasis of beautiful pictures and wonderful stories. You never disappoint. Thank you for a consistent haven of beauty and calm.
What gorgeous pics! I love that you captured the intricate details of these roses! breathtaking! hang in there and you are in my thoughts..i agree maybe you could post "your life" right now! All the best! Karyne
stunning flowers, and photos of them, naomi. Sending you love and healing energy from NE Ohio.
Oh, Naomi, just hang in there. I know how very frustrating it can be to not feel well, and then have insomnia on top of it all. It's a terrible cycle, because if you could just sleep, you could feel better. (sigh) I'm so sorry you're having a tough time.
Know that you're loved and that all of us who come here are visiting not just for your clever posts, of which there are plenty, but also because we care about you and want to know that you're OK.
(hugs)
I hope everything will be okay soon, Naomi. Those flowers are ranunculus blooms.
Wow!!! no one can "smell the roses" like you. Hugs, Bud
Your rose photos and observations are fascinating. I do hope your sleep schedule will soon be resolved.
I was telling friends this past weekend about your wonderful cacti, flower and creature photos. Expect your Spring outdoors environment is quite a sight to see, or will be as the year progresses. Hope you'll be able to share some photos with us soon.
Be good to yourself! Please know my thoughts and good wishes are directed your way.
I hope your life problems are not too serious and get worked out soon. Iknow it's not always easy to get thru certain things and some take a long time...
please be well Naomi..

I hope the "life" things sort out - I know what that's like. I'm thinking about you and imagining you relaxed and getting some sleep
Your flowers are amazing!
It's a gray, dreary, stormy day here and I popped in only to see the beautiful colors. As the old commercial said, "Thanks. I needed that."
As for "life," hang in there, dear.
Cheers.
Well, exotica works for me. These flowers are gorgeous.
I've been under the weather myself lately and I could use a little r & r. I woke up at 3:20 a.m. last night and couldn't fall back asleep until 15 min. before the alarm rang.
I've looked like "who flung it and ran" all day today today. Lucky for you, you can't see me! lol
But enough about me and the flowers, how are YOU, my friend?
I do hope you're feeling better, Naomi. Take good care and don't worry about us. We'll be here rain or shine. ;)
Naomi, it is like a painting :D
How was the gathering with Seemah, is she excited about her trip? I am.
Thinking of you dear one - hugs across miles. xoxoxoxo
I just imagined a whole show of these in large frames with some essential oil of rose wafting through the gallery. They make my heart feel light and I love the word exotica.
Naomi....whatever is causing the overwhelming feelings I hope is passing....and that sleep has caught up to you.
Your roses are lovely debutantes ready for their spring awakening. ;)
thinking of you. hoping you're well.
d.
ps. I posted a funny speech my son delivered as a "stand up comedian" the other day....a couple of posts back. It may bring a smile to your face. :)
I am sorry to hear you are having troubles. I hope these beautiful photo's bring peace to your troubled mind my friend. Take care and hugs. Take care of yourself first before visiting us.
Stunning photos and gorgeous flowers, Naomi!
I do hope you are feeling well!
Many hugs!
