6th of the 6th

I have seen this meme on a few of the blogs I visit on a regular basis. You choose the 6th File Folder from your Pictures and than pick the 6th picture in that file, and talk about it. Not so much the picture itself, but where it was taken, how you feel about it, etc.

So.....above, is a close view of some very delicate flowers of a Succulent plant that sits on my Deck, facing the city. The picture itself actually was taken towards the end of this past January, because I was amazed that this plant had Flowered again.....And of course, it has a lot to do with our strange weather. What do I mean? Well, it's HOT then it's COLD, then it's HOT once again, and this could happen in just a few days.

I think these dear little flowers----no bigger than the nail of your pinky----began to bloom again when we had a HOT Spell that lasted maybe 8 or 9 days.....Then....Well, we got a terrible cold snap. I love these little Bell-Like Flowers, and I have posted some pictures of them in the past. The color is so rich and they are so very delicate looking yet strong, all at the same time. Succulent flowers, in general, I find so very beautiful....these are no exception. Another view of the same beautiful little blooms....
I'm going to post this while I can....I'm still having computer problems---nothing to do with Blogger....this is the computer itself. I am finding it very t-r-y-i-n-g......!

More To Come.......

What perfect tiny flowers. They look like the bloom would stay around a long time after they open.

We got some new plants a couple of weeks ago and I'm just trying to not kill them.

Good job, as always.

BTW, your posts are still messed up on the main page when viewed with Firefox. Clicking on the comments though brings them through perfectly, which is a good thing. I was getting a little frustrated.

Cheers, dear.

I definitely have to do this meme sometime :-) Spotted it on a few people's sites so far.

I know what picture it will be and although I can tell a tale about it, my sixth folder just happens to be called "Warcraft", which will give an idea of what's in the piccy ...

PS Good to know I can still see the lovely piccys here with Internet Explorer instead of the Firefox I usually use :-)

What a lovely bloom... yellow always lifts the spirits.
I know what you mean about the hot-cold-hot-cold thing... same here. Today - 70. Yesterday - 40. This coming weekend it is back to the 40's.

I think it's interesting that they're about the size of a pinky nail when they look big and blooming and larger than life. Their color is spectacular!

Btw, 6th of the 6th sounds like a fun meme. I may try it.

I don't think I've ever seen those flowers before. Do you know what they are?

We've got signs of spring here with crocus and snowdrops.

Those bright yellow, little flowers are so pretty.
The detail of even the tiniest leaves and flowers is just remarkable.

They are lovely. I get nervous at the mention of files - let alone specific ones . My grand- daughter has been trying to make order out of chaos. it's a failing of mine.

Oh, these little flowers are simply gorgeous! So delicate! I love both these pics so much because of the yellow against the fleshy green and also against that textured white background. Fabulous!
