The little video above is a rather close look at the Bougainvillea down below, next to the other Date Palm in my garden....the smaller, much younger Palm....It all looks so pretty....especially the Fronds swaying in the breeze.....And this second one is that same younger Palm and the big one with all the fruit on it.....I just love seeing the fronds moving in the wind....! I went down into my garden again today...(Someone was with me, I'm happy to say....) And I was able to get much closer to those Seed Pods.....It was very very exciting....! They are really so very beautiful....And there will be more pictures of them, very soon....Here below....A "preview"....
What a thrill, to get this close to these BEAUTIFUL little oval-ish roundish orange seed pods.....the 'fruit' of the Palm.....Oh, I cannot resist....Here is another view of this very magical art form that nature has created, all on her own. Without us. Without the meddling of man.

You can really hear that wind blow and what a nice effect it has on the palms. I don't think Florida palms look quite that pretty; they're usually burnt brown on the ends.

I was thinking about you yesterday when I went to pay my cell phone bill. At the T-Mobile store they have some really beautiful cactus blooming in the back parking lot. They are planted next to the parking spaces and you have to be careful how you get out of your car. It is amazing how dangerous those spikes are on the plants...I have been poked several times. It is an oxymoron how something so beautiful can hurt you so easily.... I love your date palms. Nature does some really nice handy work.

Those palms are gorgeous! Such beautiful graceful movement in those fronds. Do you know what my favourite bit is? At the end of the first video one frond curves towards the camera adn I love the shape it makes. :)

We are going to end up seeing you on the nature channel one day! That was so neat, the wind blowing through the palms was great.
For the first time ever I found baskets of Bougainvillea at the nursery while out with mom and I went right for it but then she talked me out of it. She said she'd tried a basket last year and it was so much work. Our climate is just not for it. She said I'd have a lot of work unless I bought one more into like June. So I resisted. Those fronds swaying gently give a feeling of relaxation. Very nice.
Courtney and I went to the gardens here, and I took a photo of a cluster of seed pods-grape-like fruit on a tree that was unfamiliar to me. Nature is amazing!

When I see your Garden as presented by you, I sometimes feel we are living on different Planets.
Here we have 3-4 of intensive months with growth. And maybe 3 months when we can swim in the Sea.
Then nothing. Our 4 seasons. Have changed. Yeah, something like cold and temperated spring/fall. At least close to the Sea. But in the mountains this year: Record when talking about Snow.
Yeah yeah - I'm facinated by this tiny globes differences.
