More To Come.......
Thank you Naomi. That is fascinating and I love it. The angels look so laid back and tranquil. I wonder if there is any significance to one of them having wings pointing down?
How clever of you to find him.
Yippee! Just realised I'm FIRST!
Michele sends her bet.
Those are really fascinating. They are not only gorgeous, but very unique. I wonder what his inspiration was?
OMG! Those are fantastic!! I've never seen anything like it!! Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful!!
I can't blame you for wanting to own one.. the problem would be "which one???" They are all so gorgeous!
Oh my!! His work is fantastic. I need more information on this man. Please provide, it you can, a link to his website if he has one. It's amazing what he does. I just may have to talk hubby into getting me a piece of his work.

This artist is brilliant! I love the dove one...
Thank you fro bringing us so0mething fresh, and exciting.
Also thank you for your visits to Sugarloaf mountain.
Wow, those are so beautiful and amazing what he has created out of what seems like nothing. The message is impressive too. I have seen a lot of paper sculptures but none any more imaginative and beautiful than those. Thanks for bringing his work here.
His work is fascinatiing! I like the one with the ship in the ice and the one with the bird trying to take off. Very beautiful
This work and its artist needs to be showed on The Martha Stewart Show. I would think Martha would love to see something this interesting.
Wow, Naomi. These are incredible.

Ooops, Michele sent me!

A truly remarkable artist. If he hasn't already had a show, he needs to have one and soon.
Thanks for profiling him
Anne
His work is utterly amazing! SO very beautiful. I just love that first one, the angels. But they're all spectacular. Gosh, what talent he has. And imagine the patience required for this type of art. We did something similar to this around Xmas at the Arts Center. But I knew it wasn't for me...lol NOT like cutting out paper dolls.
Thanks so much for sharing this, Naomi.

These paper sculptures are to die for! Truly amazing and beautiful! They are so original, I've never seen anything like this before. :-) Thanks for sharing!
I have a file of a few of his prints also, but my source didn't have the detail that you have. Lovely stuff.
Wow, Naomi! That is amazing! What a great and creative artist! Thanks for sharing!
Awwwww Naomi! You always share so many wonderful things from your life and your friends - this post is no exception - it's amazing - breath taking. How wonderful and tallented to make all these wonderful things just out of paper!
This is unique art. I mean I've seen a lot of paper sculptures, but this is expectational!
Wishing you a great end to your week dear :-)
Those are amazing. It's incredible how he can do that.
Michele sent me.
I have seen many pictures of this artists work but not some of the representations that you have on display, I am very impressed by what he has accomplished & amazed that it's all only with paper.
Michele sent me to wonder over this artists talent.
Those are amazing, I love the last one, as befitting my nickname lol.
Have a great weekend.
Naomi, I am sorry that it took me so long to get here. I have posted some of his work before - but I didn't know who did them. Thanks for posting these and letting us know who did them. They are truly amazing!
all i can say is: AMAZING! i'm a new fan thanks to you!
you definitely have GREAT taste!
A patient genius. What this man can do with paper totally amazes me. I'd love to see one of his creations up close, and he's one artist I'd like to meet.
The impenetrable castle happens to be my favorite, even the name sounds fascinating. There is so much detail in all his works. He's simply brilliant.
Lovely art? I like the one of the bird trying to take off. I also like the artist that paints in 3D.
Hi Naomi. Thank you for sharing. Have a fantastic weekend!
Wow. What an artist, indeed. And his work makes me think of you. When I saw that first piece, I was sure it was from your collection. Just incredible and inspiring. Thank you for sharing it.
I am SO glad I came after you at Michele's because I can't imagine missing this. It's extraordinary! Thank you so much for sharing.
Beautiful ... I love 3D stuff ... and stuff that is 2D but looks 3D .. it's so clever.
Naomi, what a find!! Everyone is going to want one of his works--wow.
Very artistic. A wonderful style.
Michele sent me.
I had never heard of him and his work is incredible - the patience involved must be immense.
What a wonderful talent, to be able to see these things in a plain sheet of A4 paper and then reveal them to the rest of us! Wonderful. I really love the one of the birds wing. I could live with that one too!
Thanks Naomi for your nice words on my current post! I had never heard of the "The Silent Meow", but I will search for it soon. Sounds a very interesting book! Send my thanks to Sweetie! Lol!
Have a lovely weekend!
Wow...Amazing to look at!
Those are some of the neatest things I've ever seen. How cute. I like how the little angels are just lying right in the frame. All fallen. And how many of us haven't fallen! What a cool post.
They're amazing!
This is stunning!!! Absolutely stunning the very last one is my favorite...
Well, I have never seen any artwork like this before! Very unusual but so pretty too. It's fascinating what people come up with but I guess that is what makes him a great artist!! They are all great but I love the ship one!!
Thanks Naomi for sharing! I had never heard of Peter Callesen before!!
Wow!! These are really beautiful and different...3 dimentional and tactile as well and visual. I am more concious of that after having a blind classmate....I love angels so the first is my favorite....wonderful. Thanks for sharing with us!
Me again. I just finished reading your 100 things about me (you). You are a fascinating person -- artist, actor, musician, all kinds of things.
I am doing a blog piece about this kind of art (I don't know if it's Callesen's) on Monday, and as part of the story I suggest readers come see what you have here. I also ran your picture, because you ain't so old, Ms. Old Old.
Wow! Those are pretty amazing!
I got a kick reading Old Horsetail Snake's comment above. Old Hoss is quite a crack up!! He's right about you not being Old Old... You're way to spunky for the Old Old name to fit.
It's hard to believe that paper could become such exquisite art!! His works are fragile, delicate, and intricate. I am amazed.
You asked me if we made up that drawing game. Courtney came up with it, and we've been playing this for awhile now. It is similar to other drawing games, but this one suits our family well. We don't play it too often, just once in awhile.
Peter Callesen's work is poetic and his romance with delicate paper makes me think he's inspired by daydreams that find their way into presentations of remarkable reality.
Wow! You're so right, this guy is amazing. His art is even more so!
These are on emails that work their way around the world. There are a selection of art works that are so intriguing and diverse they warrant email publicity!
Aren't they absolutely magical? I love the 'lost' ones, the small figures in the expanse of white..
Michele sent me here this morning to see what you're cooking up here in the Hills :-)

Back from Michele seeing this great artist.
Naomi, these works of art are incredible! Such a delicacy in the design, and in the execution of his ideas. I could easily display any of those works on my walls.... I am truly blown away by this artist's talent. Thank you for sharing your find with us. I would love to see his work in person.
Fantastic works of art. I just love that the backgrounds are also part of the over all art. I can not imagine the size of the small parts of paper that he must work with
I'm overwhelmed
Thanks for sharing.
btw. It's over midnight here, and I do have a busy week to come
hugs
Those are so cool!
I love the angels with the skeletons falling down.
Many years back I received an email on paper art and I am glad to finally know that it is the of Peter Callesen, thank you Naomi :D
I've seen Peter's work before, matter of fact, when I was taking art classes in school one of my teachers used his work as a example for us. It's amazing!! I was in awe then and still am!
Hope you are having a wonderful week my friend!
Wow! Such talent!
This is the very sort of art that I adore. It expands my mind!
Outstanding and creative. My kinda art. I have seen these on the Internet more than a few times, and they always hold me spellbound. Thanks for sharing here, too.
My goodness. His artwork is simply amazing!! Thanks for sharing with us...
Wonderful! Totally fabulous.
These are AMAZING! I had seen a few of these in an email, but you have posted many I hadn/t seen...they just take ones breath away with the details ..thanks for posting them for us to see!!
They are all gorgeous, but that first picture...it's just breath taking!
