More To Come......
I sure hope that my cat does not see this.
One dish of dry food that lasts for days and a daily treat of wet food. I may have to buy some more dishes.
At first I thought Sweetie was expecting feline company :)
that's hysterical Naomi! hahahaha! we have 7 dishes down each day too... but then there are 7 cats here! LOL...
Naomi - Even though I read your blog daily (I'm a friend of Deana's at Friday Night Fish Fry)I think I've only posted a comment on your blog once or twice.
This post cracked me up! I have two cats and they share one can of wet food in the morning and another can at night. At my house we call it "mushy food". If they are hiding somewhere in the house, all I have to do is yell "MUSHY FOOD!" and they both come running!
Sweetie is so gorgeous!
Uh, Oh...I have to agree with Bud. If my cats see this, we may have mutiny here at my house. I thought we spoiled our 3 kitties, but I'm afraid you've taken "spoiled" to a whole new level...lol
But Sweetie is well, just so sweet....why not? Us humans have choices with food throughout each day....why shouldn't Sweetie? He's so gorgeous and love the photo of him sleeping...lol Poor cat's exhausted after all that dining.

I'm sort of feeling guilty for making our dog eat the same thing day after day after day...lol! Sweetie is a spoiled kitty - but there's nothing wrong with that! :)
Hahahahaha! We can see who rules the roost in your house! What a pampered kitty!
Sweetie sure does have a great life! And I don't know why I keep wanting to call him Snowball. My girlfriend indulges her cats wildly and I can see her being inspired by your post here. (so I'm not going to show it to her!)
You are such a wonderful "servant"... I say that because we are always called pet "owners" but they truly rule the roost.
So, again...
What a lucky cat to have such a wonderful servant ;)
Fortunately my cat slept through my reading of your post.
Hope all goes well with you. We're finally feeling halfway human here.
sweetie is spoiled rotten! My cats never get anything but dry food, and it is the adult cat, non-fat version at that!
P. S.
Been a while since I'd visited Hoss and I'm sure he doesn't know I exist.
I wished him a Happy 3rd. Somehow I thought he'd been around forever. He is so funny.
Hi Naomi, I do hope Flora does not see such variety of food! Lol!
I am enchanted with Sweetie resting, so calm, so relax! Give a kiss to him!
I love that last photo of the snoozing Sweetie. Love those pink pads!
Indulging our adored pets is one of life's personal pleasures and they respond with the love only they can give us.
That last picture of Sweetie was a classic ! And if I'd get 6 different kinds of food from you each day to tempt my finicky appetitie, I'd reincarnate :)
That's one spoiled kitty! As Bud said, I hope my boys don't see that!
that is so precious! i miss not having a kitty ... sigh ...
and that last pic really is a prize!
that's one kitty who knows what he wants and KNOWS how to get it!
nothing's is too much for our little furries is it?
i'm getting caught up with your posts from since before christmas. i think of you often....particularly when i am in central park. don't ask me why..i have no idea!
i just spent three weeks back home in Mississippi for the holidays and am getting re-settled into my "life" here in jersey/nyc.
give sweetie some sugar from me and ainsley.
LOL! That is so funny, especially because I know how fussy our feline companions can be when it comes to food and how far we will go to accommodate their wishes! Bob is a fussy eater too, he will give me the most level stare and look of disdain if I put something down that he doesn't approve of. LOL! Sweetie is one lucky kitty and that last photo of him napping made me laugh :)
Oh dear, that's priceless!!!
And that last photo is just gorgeous!!!
Dear Naomi...You are a bad girl! You and that blue-eyed Sweetie of yours are just partners in crime...that's all I can say.
My poor dad lies ill in the hospital and here I am laughing so hard!!
Bernie and his cat, Shopping News are snoring and sawing logs in the bedroom and it is just as well they don't hear me chuckling. They would think I had gone mad!!
This is so,so cute this post and when I have a few minutes I am going to send some other cat lovers that I know here to read it!
In the meantime I had better be thinking of that dear old daddy of mine, who by the way went through his operation with flying colors and is doing really well, thanks to praying friends and thanks to God.
Catch ya' later .....Love Terry
PS.. Oh that spotless floor!!
PS..God bless you!
That last shot is priceless! I thought I was bad with our kitties...you have really spoiled him!
Thanks dear Naomi, for your nice comments on my blogs! Flora send a kiss to you and to Sweetie too!
that is so cute. What an adorable cat and no wonder you spoil him. Good thing my cats can't blog as they'd expect better than they get although there were six dishes on my floor also this morning but for three cats and three of them needed to go in the dishwasher. They get their dry food in the utility room; so I don't count those dishes
One bowl of dry food for Charlie, one bowl of wet food for Charlie,
one bowl of wet food for Pandora,
one bowl of water for both to sup.
That's our kitchen
- Sweetie is a lucky boy...not to mention picky!
btw - Charlie sleeps like that, legs akimbo. Very odd - but so, SO cute....

That last photo is priceless....so cute!!
What a sppoilt puddy-cat he is! *heehee*
Great cat post and your way of telling the story is always so fazinating - I love your personal style and Sweetie is such a sweetie :-)
Oh dear,
this is a fantastic witness of how Cats are able to choose what's now for me the best diet.
In fact, we do excactly the same with our two "kids".
People that do not know about Cats, never understand. They are very like Humans that know the importance of all the time "change food" -no favourite, no "I'm hungry - need something". Oh no. The Cats want and need a varity of food - unless Polluck for dinnner. Yeah, we buy them frozen in 4Xw blocks. Heat them in hot water (not coocking). 18 minutes - I start the Alarm Bell -pip-pip-pip. Then Rosa and Felicia goes to their places.
We love Cats. And you have a most wonderful one. Give a good hug from over here.
PS. We will be away during the weekend. Our Cats are now with Stompa and my x-wifes home.
hugs
from the "Vikings"
She's so snowy white and pink like the floor.
This is a riot and I guess because I've never had a cat I don't really understand. But whatever your doing is working, the last photo says.
Ah there he is my spoiled little cousin LOL. Glad to see you took my advice and finally posted pics.
Our cats get told "you are not Sweetie " now just eat what I give you and go away , I am the mean cat momma.
you have oodles of admirers for your cat and your affection for him. but what also totally impresses me is how SPOTLESS your kitchen is!! no wonder you can see a bug's shadow out of the corner of your eye! there's a zen lesson here....
Naomi, that last photo is absolutely priceless and framable! :)

Hi, I'm a first time visitor here - but I'll be back! So much to see - you have a wonderful rich life, thank you so much for sharing bits of it with us.
Indeed they're surprised. I too am amazed on how he can finish all of those. Such a spoiled cat. Imagine all that food just for one cat. (lol).
I used to do about the same thing with my old cat ! Except I would hide the dishes all over my appartment so he would at least get some exercise...
Michele sent me to wish you a great weekend !
I must say that I thought my mom's cat, Maggie, was the most spoiled cat I knew. No more. What priceless pictures! Made my cats jealous!
Sweetie is so lucky to have you in his life! I would love to have a setup like that. He sure is pretty.
...I have not the words.
Michele sent me
That cat likes to eat!
It is like Sweetie is on a loose on an eat all you can buffet! Sweet!
And finally, the story behind the dishes! That has got to be the most precious cat picture I have ever seen.
Now I understand the entire story of the dishes.
Sweetie has a very fine variety to choose from.
I like to nap after I eat too, in addition, as well!
:-)
Oh, that post left me in stitches with the step-by-step commentary and the final pic. Such a beautiful kitty! I can see why you spoil him - and I think Michele would too!
At last you have shown the dishes!! Sweetie certainly has his choice of foods!! I can tell that he is very well fed and no doubt rules the house!! LOL So cute!!!
Does it cost a lot more to keep all those choices on hand? Michele sent me. You are obviously a very loving pet owner. :-)
I totally love his tail--and his appetite! You are very generous. I've pretty much stopped giving Wendell wet food because he cries for it, then usually eats two bites before ignoring it. . . even without his fangs (they were all removed last year) he prefers dry. Now, if we're talking human food, that's another story. Can't get enough.
Does yours wake you up at 4a.m. because he doesn't like to eat alone? Mine does!
