More To Come............
Oh, Carol looks like a fun person to have known since 1953!!
and I love the grandchildren photo... what a clever shot!
Hope you're staying warm! Brrr!
~S :)
Wonderful post, Naomi! I love getting photo cards and I love seeing yours too. We got one that showed 3 pugs dressed in Santa hats. I don't think I kept it, or I'd post it here. The photo of the two girls from behind is truly wonderful!
I love Christmas cards so much. It's fun to see the cards that other people get. Should I admit that I keep all the Christmas cards I get? Especially the picture ones because I love to see the people change and children grow each year. :)
These are GREAT! I can't imagine anyone being bored. The one of the two little girls is SO cute! And the DeLuise family are all gorgeous. Tom Skerrit? I've had a crush on him since 1979!
Thanks so much for this post, it was great!
I don't think I know these people but I love Annie Guilbert's two Grandchildren. That's a very cute picture.
I published today some pictures of my Christmas in Amsterdam. I can tell you this city is depressing at this time of the year !
Oh I love this post! What a wonderful idea to do the photos as a card, that is something I would love to do for next year (if I have time!! No - I will MAKE time!!!). My job is keeping me ridiculously busy, as you may have guessed. But at least xmas is over and things can hopefully now settle down a bit. Sorry to ramble! All I meant to say is 'great post!!!'. :)
Naomi, I would never be bored with looking at all these lovely cards. How neat is that! I only received three cards this year that were photos...one was from my chiropractor; the other for the daughter of a friend of mine from the 60s. My friend has passed on - but her daughter continues to keep in touch. I love that she does. The other was an actual photo taken by a friend and turned into a card.
Maybe next year I'd do a card of us...
Thanks for your kind comments ! Amsterdam is on my main blog Writer Cramps, lol !
This is such an awesome post ... you are blessed to be connected with so many wonderful families over a long period of time. Please post more here!
I had forgotten just how special Christmas cards can be ... I sadly didn't send any this year - but hope to make up for it and send out cards to celebrate the Chinese New Year instead.
We didn't get any photos tucked away in cards this year.
Michele says hi ... and so do I.
You know me so well, I had a little thrill when I saw Tom's sweet craggy smile....one of my enduring Hollywood crushes :-)
hmm - I think I may have to break out Steel Magnolias today!
I'm with Judy, I love that photo of the lovely little girls - how precious is that?
The tradition of getting the family to the 'Christmas Card Photo' session and then sending them out hasn't really taken off over here.
If it ever does - will we be able to get Charlie to sit as still as the Skerritt's cat? :-)
I've been a little poorly the last couple of days, but I am intending to post the Crazie Christmas with (woo hoo!) photos!!

Beautiful post and nice photos, Naomi!
I wish to you and yours a WONDERFUL NEW YEAR! LOVE!
Thanks for your comment Naomi - finally got my xmas post up (now that it's nearly new year lol). Also had my first experience of blog theft tonight, feeling pretty crappy about it all, anyway, I vented on my post so I'll not do it here!!!
Naomi - these are just tooooo precious! And imagine Annie Guilbert's two daughters looking like they just came off the prairie! LOL! That IS precious! And Dom DeLuise -- how I MISS him! Great share Naomi! Thank you!
How fun! I love CC photos. Tom Skerritt is so wonderful.
Wonderful Post Naomi!
I adore Christmas cards with photos of families and children, particularly from friends who always remember us no matter how far away. I also love the Christmas letters that tell us all their news and the special events of their lives. Like you, I have saved some over the years and consider them among my souveniers.
Michele sent me to view your wonderful group of friends. I'm amazed you've kept in contact with so many people for so long.
I love these!!!!!! OMG, we loved Dom Deluise on the Mike Douglas Show when he used to do "Dominic the Great": "The people in-a the front they gonna laugh...the ones in the back they gonna like it toooooo...."
My father absolutely adored him!
That photo of the two little girls is priceless. Just gorgeous. Thanks for sharing these! More! More!
Back to say the Crazie Christmas photos are up at the Palace?
And I look forward to your 'Tom' post :-)
And also, I love the DeLuises! :-)

Oh Naomi! Do post more! they are wonderful to look at!!!
Good to see the one of Dom and his family. I did get to meet him once at an autograph show and have a nice pic of me and him.. he was signing autographs for charity.. such a nice man.
What a neat idea to post these Naomi!! In that first picture the cat looks just like my Munchie!!! I like getting picture cards but the only one I got this year was of my great-niece and great-nephew on the front of the card. It is now on my fridge!!
That photo of the two little girls from behind is adorable!!
Thank you for sharing.. Those are wonderful cards to be getting!
I've always had a crush on Tom Skerrit. Him and Jeff Bridges. I love the insight these cards give me into how alike we all are, more than we are not.
WOW! Michele sent me and I'm glad she did! I loved Tom Skerrit in "Steel Magnolias" - reminds me of my best friend's dad.
Oh, and I've always had a crush on Peter Deluise - ever since "21 Jump Street". He's still adorable.
Oh man this is such a great post, thanks for sharing all these beautiful pictures with us!!!
Have an amazing 2008 my beautiful friend!!!
There's a little "gift" in my blog;)
The Videos are finaaaallllyyy up;)
I love the smile I get from visiting you. What great cards and such a fun post. I love Tom Skerritt, he always seems so nice. And who could ever forget Top Gun. You have such cool friends Naomi and thanks for sharing some celebrity life with us!
My favorite part of the holidays is getting Christmas cards. The letters that go on and on and brag about this and that, drive me up a wall, but I like the pictures. It's amazing to me to see how much the kids have grown and the adults have grayed. LOL
I knew if I came over here there would be a post that would suck me in. You never fail to disappoint, Naomi! Have a Happy New Year my friend! :)
the pics look so professional! happy new yrs
I have just embiggened the photo of the DeLuises to check out the family.
Wow, aren't those three handsome sons - mind you, Peter has always been my favourite :-)
It's wonderful that Dom and Carol have been married for over 30 years. Quite an achievement in today's Hollywood.....
Michele sent me back tonight, Nay. Just a couple of visits before bed.

What wonderful cards and photos to have received. In Britain we don't have the tradition of sending such things but yours look such fun and so full of joy I think that maybe we should. What a wonderful way of keeping in touch across the miles :)
Thanks for posting and sharing :)
My dog and cats would never sit still long enough for a Christmas pic :)
Naomi, thanks for sharing your personal mail with us. There are people out there who would be sharing items like this for the "name-dropping", "look at who my personal friends are" effect. But we know that is not you.
You've attracted a wonderful circle of friends and confidantes over the years. Thanks for sharing them with us, Naomi.
I wish you better health and many sunny days in 2008!
Naomi,
you are incredible, mentioning an unknown man from Norway, only written some synopus for comedie theatre years ago in a language spoken by less people than living in L A area.
I'm most grateful.
HUGS
Tor and Anna
Hi Naomi! Thank you for adding joy and laughter as I glean through and follow that you blogged.
It was great knowing you and I hope I shall have the pleasure to read more of your glorious reminisces.
Do have a wonderful 2008 filled with joys and wonders of the unexpected. LOL.
how fun. I've been fortunate to get to know a few celebrity families over the years since I've lived in Palm Springs. Lots of folks from LA/Hollywood have been coming out again for weekend get-aways and also buying weekend houses. Eveything old is new again.
PS- do you know Dick Van Patten? He's getting a star on the Palm Springs Walk of Stars on Jan 12th. he knows Dom and Carol I believe...
That Jack has a beautiful head of hair! It's nice to see the DeLuise family...Dom always cracked me up when I saw him on tv!
Happy New Year's Eve, Naomi!
Oh, and I'm sorry you couldn't read my blog! The text is black, and it's on gray...apparently, too dark of a gray! Do you know how to highlight text? That will make the background white and the text blue! Regardless, thanks for stopping by :-)
