Yes we have turkey and usually ham as well. We eat leftovers for a while but in past years I've cooked for as many as 25. I'll scale down this year.
Happy Blogiversary! And here's looking forward to many more and I hope to be here to read every single post on the road to your next milestone.
You are so right, it can be like a job sometimes, but like all great jobs it is very fulfilling. It has put me in touch with many wonderful people like yourself dear Naomi. So three cheers for this thing called blogging says I, and for your Blogiversary.

A toast to the "old old lady"
there in the hills
who entertains us with stories
and photographic thrills.
And yes, it's two years
since her blog took its flight
attracting new readers
to her -- and their! -- delight.
I wish this blog an infinite course
'cause it's got so much to say
I thank you and it for being there
to help round out my day!
Mazel tov on your 2nd blogiversary; wishing you many more.
It's my privilege to have met you through this richly warm community of bloggers, Naomi. To think of all that I have learned through your words and photos...and what I would have been missing if I hadn't been able to be a part of your adventure.
Thank you for always welcoming us into your world, for sharing so much of yourself, and for being one of the kindest people I've met, online or off. Like everyone who is a part of your orbit, I'm better for having known you.
Here's to countless more.
HAPPY HAPPY 2nd Blogiversary!!!! I think I (should have) celebrated mine back in July! I enjoy coming here and seeing all of your cool pictures and reading the stories of the hills...
Many blessings to you and your blog!
BTW, Michele sent me... glad she did so I could send my wishes...
Whopee! Happy Blogiversary Naomi and thank you for sharing all your experiences with me.

Naomi, happy happy anniversary to you my dear. Even though I don't comment often, I do lurk at least weekly. Have a wonderful week. utbm f/k/a Keb.
Happy Blogaversary! I wrote a haiku for the occasion:
Lovely photographs;
A true lover of nature.
An amazing life!
We all love your blog. Thanks for all the good times (and the "more to come")!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY to your blog my dear Naomi! How wonderful to hit the two years mark! I am so glad I "meet" you and I am also so glad I have your friendship, it means a lot to me! I have so enjoyed and learned so much reading "Here in the Hills" and looking at the beautiful photos you share with us! I truly share your sentiments about the blogosphere, too. Blogging is really a marvelous experience and it is an awesome way to meet people and make nice and lovely friends around the world! Many hugs and have a great day celebrating and many more years to come!
Happy Blogaversary! I'm so glad I found your blog - I enjoy it so much! :)
Party! Happy happy! Keep on keepin' on. We all enjoy it very much.
Mazel tov on your second anniversary, Naomi! It's been a joy to watch how you have taken over the blogosphere and I always enjoy your fascinating, provocative, and visually stunning posts. I'm also happy in the knowledge that there's SO much more, I hope you will continue to mine your past and present for riveting material. As far as I'm concerned, you could write a post about every single play you've ever seen, I love when you share your amazing theatre life with us.
Congrats Naomi!
2 years. :)
I'm very very glad to have met you on the blogosphere, and hope to visit you soon. I agree with everything you said about blogging. A real life-enricher.

HAPPY BLOGAVERSERY! To a very fine blog too! I hope you have many fun blogging years ahead, filled with joy and laughter :-D
Thanks for stopping by and congrat me on my birthday, that was so nice of you. Sorry I'm a bit late returning here, but I've not been well.
I've seen you all over the blogosphere too, funny though that we haven't really bumped into each other blogs properly yet. Maybe because there are soooo many nice bloggers out here, so how to find the time to visit them all? *giggles*
I read on Tor's blog earlier that he enlarged his text in his blog post for you, maybe you have had problems to read it? I have had a very tiny text size on my blog for long, but that's gonna be a bit better with my new blog layout that's coming.
And do you know that you can actually enlarge the text on any web page if you have a computer mouse that will allow it? Just click on the middle wheel on the mouse, between the two mouse buttons so that the + sign show up, then you can roll the wheel to make it bigger or smaller as you like. Click once more to set the size when you're pleased with it. (I hope it maked sense...)
Keep on with the fun blogging!!!!
Naomi - I am honored to have known you this long. You are a welcomed addition to the blogging world. You make many days brighter! :)
I'm so glad you found blogging and I'm glad I found you! :)
Many Congratulations Naomi. Hands across the sea are alive and well. Also God bless Michele - I'm certain that is how I met you and I bless the day. Blogging is a great boon to many; in my case - one door closed another opened and the only loser is my house and garden so I had better give a quick whip round this morning. I think you will be asleep now. Pleasant dreams and don't eat too much cake:)
Naomi, I think you do as much for us as we do for you if not more. I truly enjoy your online scrapbook and meeting your wonderful family and friends through your blog posts. When I think of the hills, I think of you and your beautiful flowers.
Happy Blogiversary! I'm so glad your friends introduced you to the blog world. We've all gained so much by knowing you and sharing in the events that have made you who you are and that interest you on a daily basis. I'm especially glad that you have the blog to get you out and about and making contact with others since you're not able to do that physically because of your health. You should write an article for the newspaper telling other people who are shut in or away from the world about the blogosphere, how you got started and what it has meant to you. I have an elderly friend whose been in a 2 year battle with cancer and shut in because of germs. I told her about your blog and encouraged her to unpack her laptop and give it a try so she wouldn't feel so isolated. Me being a lot younger, she thought I could handle computers better than she because I grew up with them, and that she wouldn't be able to figure it out. I think if one of her peers from her own generation approached her and told her how it's done and that it's not that complicated, she would try it and gain so much. There are probably a lot of people out there who would gain so much by reaching out to the world via a blog, but are afraid it's too complicated. You didn't grow up with computers but you've managed. I think you have a lot to share and should do an article on it for your area papers.
Happy Blogiversary Naomi!!!
Two great years of reading your wonderful blog and seeing all your great pictures!! Like you said, "Who knew?" It's quite amazing this blog thing!!! I'm so grateful to Danny and his wife for getting you started, and so glad I found your blog!!
Hugs to you Naomi!!!
Just looked it up and my first blog post was on 10-2-05, so I missed mine, but maybe I'll have a belated post about it!! You first commented on my blog on 10-16!
Keep on the sunny side, always on the sunny side......
Happy Blogiversary to you from over the pond :-)
HAPPY BLOGAVERSARY NAOMI!!!
Two years of blogging. And you say something very important: All the wonderful people you meet in the blogosphere. It's fantastic. I'm still a youngster here, but as you know, so happy to meet you among the millions of millions of bloggers.
Your posts from your pro life, family and not to forget your garden and friends are all fascinating reading and viewing.
I'm sorry I did not comment before. We have just moved back to our winterhome. That's a real move from one place to another, I can tell. In between it's something called job/work. And B-Days. Today my daughter is 30 and on Friday my mother will be 88. And Wednesday and Thursday I'll be in Sweden working.
Frost has showed it's face this morning. grrr. Tooo early. But the flowers did manage. I was at the summerhouse this afternoon at picked up some more "things". We need a least two more trips to close down the water, finnish the garden, pick our grapes and bring back more food from the fridge and freezer - even some clothes and linen.
Hope ou are well.
Call you from Miami in November.
hugs
Sorry I'm late, but Happy, Happy blogaversary Naomi. Two years and almost 300 post is impressive.
I so much remember when I met you in blogsphere and how great it has been getting to know you, your daily life and present and past and your lovely garden and everything else. Thank you so much for taking your time to share all this with us - it's always a pleasure to pay you a visit :-)
Two years and nearly 300 posts by Naomi the actor, the writer, the singer, the artist and especially the friend she has become.
