I don't remember how I first found your blog but I do remember that you captured me instantly with "the ladies that lunch"! The photo's and the smiles and the silly things that followed made me wish I was one of your ladies that lunched. From then on your blog was just a natural for me. During my 10 yrs living in the Valley I came to realize how much it meant to me being around creative people.. they always brought the best out of me and made me happy.
Add to that... we share the same blog anniversary!!! and for the same amount of years!!! We were meant to find each other!!!

Happy Anniversary! I remember I started reading your blog about a year after I started my first one. My how time flies. I'm so glad you blog. I've learned so much about your world, your experiences and the world. I'm so happy you reached all those years ago.
Happy Anniversary, Naomi!!!! Your friendship has enriched my life!!!
Happy 8th anniversary! That is worth celebrating! I loved the posts about France. You certainly have lived life to the max, and in many ways even though you can't get outside you seem to manage to bring the fun times to you!
I can't remember how I found your blog now, but I remember your Ladies That Lunch posts very well, and all your reviews of films etc.
Big hugs to you. Hope your weekend is going okay.
I do remember those posts and thinking at the time, "wow she met Picasso and even owns an original." (that adorable little face by his signature.)
You have enjoyed so many highs in your life and I am so happy you have shared some of them with us. It is fun even being a second hand tag along.
Congrats on the 8 years of blogging Naomi. I happily joined you in 09 and always look forward to your posts.
I love your South of France pics and the memories you shared of your father. Of course, it was exciting to see you together with Picasso but I remember the special times with your father being a highlight. I'm so glad you have these photos and memories. It's always good to travel back and relive these wonderful moments that were captured and I'm sure will stay with you forever.
I'm so glad you decided to start blogging and that I found you. You've added richness and color to our world and I thank you for that, my friend.
PS - I mailed your drawing yesterday. It should arrive by the middle of next week. I do hope you like it. :)
I enjoy reading your blog. So many nice things to see & read, and the movie stars, Jeff Bridges.
Happy 8th, 8th, 8th Naomi and do you know 8 is our auspicious number :)
Because of you blog, I have embraced friendship with you and Seemah and hopefully many many more.
Cheers!!!!
WELL! Happy Anniversary indeed! As you know, my blog has been an outlet too for a basically bedriddenn young woman. I read your posts and pretend that is MY life, all I MIGHT have known had my health been different. I speak of you often and consider you a friend. Your blog has made me smile on some very sad days. Your visits to MY blog are precious to me. I hope you know how many lives you have made better by sharing yours.
Happy blogoversary!! I am very glad I met you and hope you are hanging in! Email me if you want some funny stuff...some stuff I can't even post on the blog!
I was drawn to your blog initially because of your fun avatar - woman playing pool, but feel that I've gotten to know you much better now after a few months. What a lovely trip that was to the South of France. Just lovely - all of it. I especially loved the photos of Picasso - how wonderful that you got to meet him! Your father looked like a lovely man, too.
Happy blogoversary, Naomi! xo
Happy Anniversary! My joke will be posted as usual! xx
Happy Blogaversary Naomi. I am very, very glad to know you via blogland. xoxoxo
What a rich storytelling in your posts about France. Makes me want to travel the world in 80 days! I love the purple dress you had on in the first post. So chic! All those pictures you took of your dad were sweet.
We are some old blog dinosaurs, Naomi. I hit my 8 year mark in March. It has been a good therapy, discipline and focus for me.
Happy Anniversary Naomi! Your blog has brought all us readers so much joy. I have learned so much from you and I never look at flowers the same anymore. Your life has been and is so interesting! You have so many stories to share with us about your incredible life!
I am so so so very sorry to hear about Kim. How awful and sad for you to lose such a dear friend. It seems like no time ago she was at your house for a luncheon.
I know you are truly hurting now with losing so many friends and loved ones. Hang in there and I will be praying for you. xxoxx
Happy Anniversary! It's been cool getting to read about and see your experiences.
I'm glad to know you. :)
Just been reading your old blogs. Excellent!! The joke is posted! xx
I'm currently reading a fascinating autobiography, full of wit and warmth and tales of life with many, many photographs, that I just don't want to put it down. Of course I would recommend it to you, except, well....YOU are the author, ...bet you saw that coming, Naomi :-) Happy 8th Bloganniversary!
This South of France trip was so very interesting, especially about Picasso and his extreme interest in examining everything...like the camera flash cube, so small. The world fascinated him...it's a good thing to remember to do...LOOK. Look and be amazed.
Thank you for reminding me of this.
Many congratulation Naomi and I pray we have many more to look forward to.
Way back I dimly remember that at the weekends I would visit an American blog that encouraged one to visit other American blogs and I remember being attracted to your
beautiful home page and after reading it I was hooked. I bless the day.xoxoxox
Happy Anniversary, Naomi. Indeed -- eight years is quite an accomplishment. I shall have to stop feeling smug about almost six!
I'm so glad I discovered your blog and am eagerly looking forward to checking out your France posts -- one of my favorite countries and so many places I must discover!

Happy Anniversary, Naomi. I don't visit (or comment) as often ... no particular reason and that makes me sad as I so enjoy your posts.
In your 'confinement' and blogging, you have taken me (and so may others) out of our little world. Thank you for that :)
happy birthday.. for other than no other reason I celebrate the freedom of your blog...Tell it like it is...and I'll be back to write more ..let it flow..
Happy 8th Anniversary
