Below, just a few pictures of better times.....
So sorry for your sad loss, Naomi! xx
I am so sorry for your loss, dear Naomi, and I have no words...May she rest in peace.
Aw Naomi, when I saw her picture, I knew what had been troubling you so and sadness for you overwhelmed me. We have had the pleasure to have met her through your parties and you have talked about her many times. I know you must be in such pain to have lost such a dear friend. Two of your dearest have left and how painful that must be. The picture of the two of you is just lovely as the one with her and Betty. I guess the only consolidation is that she is with her Werner once again.
My heart goes out to you and her family.
What a beautiful lady, beautiful soul even photos can show it. Another loss. How ever are you holding up, dear Naomi? Do hold close your wonderful memories, all the fun times. (I know you will.)
Oh Naomi - my heart sank when I saw her beautiful photo.
I am so sorry you have lost yet another dear friend.
I can only echo Patti and pray she is with her beloved husband once more. That is what I pray for.
We know of her loving heart because she had good friends like you to keep the memory alive. Best wishes to you, dear.
I was shocked when I came to your blog! I had no idea your friend and fellow "ladies that lunch" was even ill! I am so so very sorry Naomi! WE have but a handful of very close friends in our lives and loosing them is so very hard on those of us who stay behind.
I always thought how pretty she was when I saw her on your blog photo's.. I am so sorry. I cry for you because I know how hard it is on you.
x0x0 hugsxoxo..
Losing friends is so difficult and sad and you are having to go through too much of that lately. So sorry for your loss. ((HUG))
My condolences, Naomi.
As you say, I've seen your 'Ladies who lunch' parties with Kim along as part of the gang.
So sorry for your loss.
Oh no, I did not expect that and feel as if I knew her somewhat from your blog. What a bright beauty she was. I'm so sorry you have to carry so much loss as of late, my friend.
The instant I saw her face, my first reaction was, "oh no," I didn't even need to read to know what had happened. To say I am sorry for your loss is not enough. You have been through so much lately. My condolences to you, to Kim and her family. Her face became as familiar as my own family as I read your posts over the years. I hope she is finally back with her husband and at peace.
Dear Naomi, I am so sorry to hear this news.
We all feel like we know your wonderful friends from all the lunch parties you have shared with us. Kim was beautiful, inside and out and I am sure you will take comfort in knowing she is with her dear Werner once more. It must be very hard dealing with all the losses you have had over the past couple of years. However, you have the most wonderful, vivid memories which, when written down, will hopefully lessen your pain. I am so glad you can share these on your blog. It is wonderful.
For everyone.
I am also glad you will be busy focussing on all the Emmy groups you are associated with. you have a woderful contribution to make given your talents and experience.
I think of you often and I know that no matter the challenges you will deal with them in the best possible way. You are an inspiration always and your influence on us all is wide ranging no matterwhere in the world we live. Take the best care of you. Love Lilly xx
Oh no, I remember her so well from all your Ladies That Lunch posts. She always caught my eye because she was such a beautiful woman, even in old age and in her denim dungarees!
I didn't realise you married her and her husband. That must have been so special.
The cycle of life does continue, but it doesn't make the loss of losing someone who was part of that cycle any easier.
I'm so sorry Naomi, my heart is breaking for you now.
Man, you have just been through the wringer with loss - big hugs, honey.
She looks so lovely!
I wish I lived closer. I'd bring you some really awesome dessert.
I'm so sorry for your loss, my friend. I see from the photos and what you've written here what a dear friend she was and to lose her four days after her birthday, how devastating. I'm glad you have the pictures and the memories of all the wonderful times you shared together and you will never forget all those magical moments, I'm sure. Many hugs and much love to you now and always. xo
Dearest Naomi, as other have said, as soon as I saw the beautiful picture, I thought "Please no", but then I went on to read your beautiful post about this special woman, and I could feel an everlasting friendship love that this loss will never sever. You've let us be part of your life and I thank you so much for that... I've known her from Ladies who Lunch, and you've now told us what a fine, dear, sweet woman she was in your life. My heart weeps with you, and I send hugs.
Please keep blog posting, I believe it may help keeping in touch with us, your cyber-friends, and sharing your life, glad or sad.
love,
Elizabeth
