Wow, wonderful photos. Thanks for sharing these with us :) Your friends are so lucky!
I hope, dear girl, that you are calm now. I think maybe the photos of the deer might have helped. If I could have them in my yard, I would plant an orchard of plums, just for them. xo
Beautiful photos. Deer in my area don't run in herds but the elk do. Once in awhile we get a chance to see a big herd of them. It's always a treat. I love the times I see the deer also except when one gets hit on the highway. It seems to take a lot of our young ones before they can figure it out.
beautiful photo's! Gorgeous animals!.. gorgeous plums! If that photo is of her plums I don't blame them for coming to get them! They look delicious!
What wonderful photos!! We never had that many, but I used to see 3-4 everyday and sometimes 9-12. Your friends are lucky to see that many. I would go there for the plums too!!
Such lovely photos! I love the young ones, they really are cute. The plums look good. A friend at work used to give me the plums from her tree, she said they were too tart to eat. I used to make jam with them and they were so good with turkey as the jam was not very sweet. But she retired and moved away, so no more plums, just my figs. And this afternoon I created a fresh fig cake – I’ll use the recipe in a post in the future. It was good and also not too sweet.
Oh wow wow wow....it reminded me of my trip in Japan when I was feeding the deers. They are adorable..what a delight :D
Beautiful! They're so lucky to live there.
So we are all lured by treats in the end! Hope you are doing better.
Mr. RK used to live in a house with a plum tree in the backyard, and he soon found out that raccoons love plums, too. Who knew?
Wow, such a sight would make my day. I know how the deer love plums. I didn't get one plum or peach this year, just a pile of deer poop. I'd have given anything to have seen the marauder. They are so beautiful.
So sweet, and so nice your friends don't chase them away. Adorable. Oh my, I ear watermelon every day--EVERY DAY! Can't wait for tomorrow.
What a wonderful photos, Naomi!
Your friend Lois Land and her husband live in a gorgous place.
Sounds amazing to see each morning from their windows these beautiful animals. Looks like a paradise, a dream-like!
Dear Naomi, I hope you have a pleasant week.
Many hugs.
What a beautiful sight, the deer AND the plum tree. Lucky friends and those pictures are amazing!
PS - I will check my e-mail soon and thank you for asking me to do your portrait. I will work on it soon, m'dear. :)
Glad your spirits are up! This brought a big smile to my face!
I wonder where the term plum crazy came from.
Glad to see you posting again! We have a few deer in our garden but nothing like this, or so many. And they aren't very tame.
Do they mind having all their plums eaten?? What great close up shots too. They really are beautiful animals.
Lovely photos, Naomi!! x
Adorable! There were a lot of deer hanging out in my sister's neighborhood in Virginia, too. They gave us that same look when we drove my (very slowly.)
The deer on Exmoor are extremely shy and reclusive but the people whose gardens back onto the moor have high fences to protect their gardens.
Usually the shy, reclusive deer find a way to leap over the fence to eat the plants.
These deer seem un-phased by people around. We have a few in a woodland near to us, but they always hide in the depths.
How beautiful! I hope Lois can get a few plums higher up from the tree! Those fawns are just enchanting. Thanks so much for sharing these!
