More To Come.........
I did what you said and clicked and it is breathtaking and I feel I've got my fix of beauty to see me through the day.
One of the pink ones seems to have a beautiful breaker - so typical of Hawaii. Lucky you - I only spent three days there. I'm reading Marie Helvin's autobiography so am revisiting that lovely place.
You do not know how much I needed a flower photo post this morning.
Thanks!
Cheers.
Totally love how you take us inside a flower. Came "this close" to buying an orchid the other day. Now I am sure I will take the plunge. Thanks for the push.
They just look like paintings, well I guess they are - God's paintings! :)
Hello Naomi, glad to see you are well. I am slowly entering the world again. :)
Wow! Just gorgeous and breathtaking, Naomi!
The first one looks like a zebra fur...
Love all photos!
Now you know why I experience bliss every time I go to work!!
Gorgeous photos, as always, Naomi.
The colors, the shapes – everything is gorgeous. I went to the Orchid Garden in Singapore years ago, I was all alone in there and it felt like an enchanted garden. I did not have a digital camera then so my pictures are not too good. Yours are truly beautiful.
gorgeous. breath-taking. pure *bliss.* indeed. you brought me right back to hawaii, too! (i was only there for my honeymoon, though). thank you and truly, well done.
Breathtaking beauty, the colors are wonderful. Great photography to begin with!
And, we see why the ancients had to blieve in Gods. How could man possible design such beauty?
good title for your post Naomi ! I wish my "macro" worked like yours! I rarely get something that good! I hope you have a wonderful weekend !
Amazing close ups! It's just the therapy I need after a week of chaos and running around. Clicking to enlarge makes a difference. You have a good eye for flowers and these orchids are a work of art. Thanks for sharing...and have a beautiful weekend, my friend! xo
These are absolutely beautiful, Naomi.
They are Georgia O'Keefe-like in nature. It's interesting to see nature close up--the patterns and details are amazing. Thanks.
Absolutely spectacular! And the detail on that first one is astounding. Just beautiful. You really should make a book of your photos of flowers.
Oh, how I've missed the rare beauty you seem to so easily capture in an image.
Hey Naomi, we all love flowes and more so when you blogged so passionately about it :D
I am now in Bali and will by flying back to Singapore tonight. I told Seemah I will contact Lia but unfortunately when I called her shop, she wasn't there.
Anyway, I took a taxi and went to her shop and leave all the pressies there so I hope the people at the shop will pass it to her.
Can you do me a favour and inform Seemah :D
Big Hug Naomi :D
Oh, so very beautiful flowers. I especially love the first one... The colours are so vivid. Thanks for sharing these with us :)
I hope you're having a good weekend. Take care.
These are breathtaking and some of them looked like they were animals blending in with the color..I love them.
blessings and a peaceful week.

Beautiful photos of orchids Naomi! I love them. I have an orchid on my study table and they're in full bloom!
Orchids are such strange structures, unlike any other flower in form and colour and shape, yet quite beautiful. Thank you for posting these stunning closeups of your orchids.
orchids are sensual don't you think Naomi? They thrive on their beauty and aren't afraid of showing off their best side. :)
Lovely, lovely. You're right, only nature can create such beauty.
The line I posted on Thursday last week would fit well here: Flowers are so sexy; I’m surprised that right winged conservatives aren’t pushing for them to wear clothes!
They are truly so lovely!! The colors are amazing! Mother Nature sure doesn't let us down!!
These are amazing and you are an amazing photographer to capture nature's beauty. I have never seen such exquisite pics of flowers Naomi. I could look at these forever. Now I have to catch up on your blog.
These are amazing! The first one is my favorite. Those color contrasts just draw me in. I love your flower posts. I hope you have a wonderful weekend!
These are some excellent photographs and very colourful. You have a great eye for the best ways to shoot these macro pictures.
I especially like the first one.
C'est tres magnifique as they say in France! Truly beautiful. Mother nature can really show off sometimes! : )
Hi, Naomi,
Earl's CD maker (Ronda)here, finally. I just looked at that fun photo of him with the broom at the last New Year's Eve party again. Thanks for sharing those with us. I've been copying your close-up inside-the-flower technique in my Mom's flower gardens! I've been a shutterbug for many years, and you do a great job with that camera.
Is there a way I can send you pictures? I wanted to send a couple "screen snags" from your guest shot on Police Woman. (Earl's supposed to be sending me one last record, and then I will make him a few new sample CDs with 2 more tunes on them.)
I've been blogging since Jan. - I think you inspired me! Earl gets quite a few mentions on my blog, of course, esp. in a category I call "The Hottest Generation!" I put a link to your blog on mine - hope you don't mind. If you want to have a look, it's at www.ArkWindow.com - be sure to check out the SCREEN SNAGS pages, too. (They're lots of work, so someone needs to look at them - LOL!) TTYL, Ronda/OldNavy
