More To Come.........
Boy, the succulents we are able to grow in VA do not look anything like that! I'm lucky if I can keep a few hens and chicks and some of the other more common kind. And even if I could grow those lovely ones I could never, ever capture them in photographs the way that you do. Lovely, as always.
incredibly beautiful Naomi!! is this plant related to the Burrows Tail???
Such subtle tones. I love How the pinks and yellows and green tones all blend together so beautifully. As ever your photos are lovely and really show off your artists eye as well as your sympathy and love affair with nature.
Once again, thanks for the shot of pastels to start the day.
Cheers.
What a wonderful flowers, Naomi, so delicate! Love the pastel color, too. I would love to have one in my garden!
Have a nice day!
Naomi, they are really lovely. Thanks for taking the trouble to photograph them for us.
They are lovely Naomi!! They do look good enough to eat!! Better not try it though! They are probably prettier than they are tasty!
I love all those pastel colors! Just beautiful!!
I've never seen succulents like the ones you have. They are so beautiful!!!
BTW, you can start watching your mail...
Those colors are amazing! Wouldn't it be awesome to see those in a painting? Maybe by Georgia O'Keefe?! Beautiful, just beautiful!
Beautiful, Naomi!
They are beautiful! Somehow they remind me of sugar icing flowers on a cake! :)
What delicate colors and beautiful little flowers!!
Lol - For pictures of such beauty, the word "Excessive" should never come into it :-)
Well - maybe when the hard disc explodes when we try and add more pictures.
In a world where people seem to insist on bringing out the Ugly, a little bit of beauty like your piccies can't fail to bring out a smile :-)
PS Your piccy of the Stunt Rat aka Squirrel made me remember the Squirrel that went straight up the side of one of the uni buildings. The person I was walking with had his jaw drop in disbelief :-)
You have the sense of beauty and harmony. But not only the sense for it - you present it with passion and wisdom that nobody but you can do.
btw. You will be linked from my latest post, soon to be on the net
The color and the texture remind me of a baby's skin. :)
Well... not the blue-green! lol
Beautiful photos. These would make lovely Shutterfly cards.

How absolutely gorgous! I love those colours. And the form and texture and shading ... exquisite!
Hi Naomi, well-captured little flowers shots. Yours so full of blossoms...hm...I'll match the black succulents to yours one day...hahaha...
Those tiny flowers sure look great up close.
Such softness and lovely pastel colors.
I used to sing a song called Little Flowers.
The lyrics were this:
Little flowers never worry when the wind begins to blow, and they never, ever cry when the rain begins to fall. Though it's wet and oh, so cold, soon the sun will shine again. And they'll smile for the world. Oh, their beauty to behold.
:-)
Those look juicy enough to eat.
Hi Naomi, Beautiful,Beautiful
eye candy. Thank you so much. Pat from NY.
I love succulents and these are awesome pictures!
Thank you for taking so many photos of your flowers for us to share. I love how you use your macro lens!
There's something always so sweet and peaceful about your pictures...I love looking at them...they make me smile...thank you:)
Pastel petal pink. Makes me happy.
Dropping by to say hello to you, dear, and to wish you a happy day.
You could never be "excessive"!
Exuberant. Passionate. But never excessive :)
thanks for the pretty flowers. pastels are so calming.
I did think about LA...but we need a producer right now...if you have any contacts I'll be more than happy to send you a package with all the info about the show...thank you for your time and help...and your beautiful flowers;)
These flowers are so beautiful, they don't look real. In some of the photos, they look like they belong in the bottom of the sea (especially the green shot). What a beautiful deck you must have!
There pastel colors blend so perfectly that they each look like a work of art themselves. Wonderful photography, as always.
absolutely stunning Naomi.... I can't get over the softness of colour in these photos.....delicate and yet so strong looking too in their own feminine way. :)
Your flower photos always blow me away because they seem so ethereal....otherworldly.
Oh Naomi, you've done it again ! Totally spectacular, those soft colors and strong petals. Only you can make cactus look sensuous !!!
How are you doing, btw ?
Beautiful!
Hey Naomi!!! Long time no visit. I love, as always, your gorgeous nature photos... just beautiful!!
Those colors remind me of nothing less than a perfectly beautiful day. I saw a tray of succulents at Costco the other day & thought of you. I didn't buy them, but was very tempted. Hopefully they'll be there in a month or so.
As an artist, I don't know how you can keep from painting them...or perhaps you do. It would be daunting to capture the beauty.
The beautiful flower... made the heart continue to be enthusiastic, after seeing him. I love it. Regards from Yogyakarta INDONESIA.
