More To Come.......
natures colors are just exquisit aren't they?!!! Nothing ever compares to it. I love this Bougainvillea! I had one just like it (not as big) in florida.. just gorgeous!
I don't know what type of camera you use, but your close up shots and the perspective from which you take the shots are incredible. You make me SEE the blossom.
Certain colors are supposed to invoke certain emotions. Pink in nature seems to cause a soothing contentment, in me at least. Thanks for the photos.
Cheers.
Honestly, do people stop in front of your house just to marvel at your garden?
Absolutely beautiful!
Here in NE Ohio, the only bougainvillea we've had was an indoor plant in a southern window. It lived for a long time with glorious blooms.
Top quality, as usual! A joy to look at!
What a gorgeous Bougainvillea, Naomi! LOVE those color! Great pictures as always!
I simply love, love bougainvilleas!! your shots are delightful as always!!
That is so beautiful! I love the pinks and oranges together.
absolutely glorious as ever! i've missed it here.
what wonderful pictures you always take.
i loved reading the post below too, and those yummy photos. hurrah for good friends who know the score.
What totally amazingly vivid colours!
Wow...talk about spectacular colors! It looks like an artist canvass. I have to say your Bougainvillea tops anything I've seen in Florida for color. Must be that California sun.

These flowers are beautiful. We have them all over Miami, but these close-ups make them look more glamourous. I especially like the hot pink color. Very nice.
I'm surprised there aren't any bees buzzing about. Those look tasty - if I were a bee.
It's hard to believe that all those glorious colours are on a single plant. Beautiful!
You must never tire of looking at it and enjoying it's beauty. Lucky you, to have such a treasure growing in your garden.
And thank you for showing us such details.
The way you captured them in different angles is amazing :) Brightens up not jut my day but all your blog pals too Naomi :D
Wonderful joy just by looking at them, love all the shades of colour :D
I'm right there with you on the pix of flowers and plants. The detail, variety of color, shape and texture is just endless! I love zooming in to see a whole 'nother world up close. The colors on your bouganvilla are just gorgeous!
That is my favorite bougainvillea, too, Naomi. YOu haven't lived until you've seen it massed on the side of a building that is 40' tall!! I saw in in Barbados like that.
Your flowers must be so thilled to be so appreciated.
There is an Allman Brothers song called "Bougainvillea" and it is one of my faves of theirs. Part of the lyrics are "let her wear your flowers in her hair. You will always be, always be our love song." Very sweet! And your photos more than do both the bloom and the song justice.
Such beautiful colors Naomi! I do not have a Bougainvillea but they are so lovely. They will not survive the winters here, but the flowers are so lovely, not to mention the foliage! Great photos as always!!
and the beauty of nature becomes even more beautiful seeing through your eyes or lens - thanks again for sharing Naomi.
Wishing you a great end to your week dear :-)
Nicely bougainvillea'd, Young Lady.
stunning colours and light Naomi. The first shot and the ones that have an orange tinge to them remind me of what we have to look forward to in less than a month when the trees around here display their gorgeous fall colour. I love the reds of the maple tree leaves.
What is it about pink that makes us smile?
Great pinks and oranges, and great photos!
The beauty of nature just never ceases, does it?
I enjoy the up close looks you give us, and I really enjoy the commentary you write when you describe the things you see.
I hope you are feeling well these days.
I have been thinking of you as the storm called Hanna has been in the news. It reminds me of your dear, friend Hanna when I hear anything about it. I know the loss of her really took a toll on you just as these storms are taking a toll on people.
I think chocolate truffles are called for, don't you?
If you eat some, think of me because chances are, I will be eating some too, also, as well.
'My heart lifts up when I behold...'
Naomi's gorgeous colours. So much classier then the ordinary purple.
I can't imagine you ever in grey surroundings. Just as well you are not in this grey wilderness.
I love Bougainvillea, they are so pretty- but oh how they shed teir petals. We used to have our property lined with them, until one year I lost my patience with the yard litter and had the gardner rip them all out.
Those pinks are amazing!
Wow. Those colours are simply breathtaking. I love these colours - it is amazing what Mother Nature has in store isn't it? There are bougainvilleas grown on the island in the middle of the street I live on. When they bloom they look magnificent with their shades of pinks and yellows and oranges.... just gorgeous.
Thanks too for your words over the past couple of weeks. I appreciated them. ((hugs))
Oh Naomi... you know how I love bougainvillea... these photos are gorgeous. Just gorgeous. Wonderful captures.
