More To Come........
I wonder what kind of bird it is. What a beautiful thing to watch. Michele sent me. :-)
Some of the half eaten fruits look like great jaws - almost as if it could swallow the little bird whole. But I think it is he who is doing the swallowing - with great delight.
Thank you for those Naomi.
Just popped over to Michele's before my guests arrive and she sent me right back. Wish you could join us for coffee. The girls would love to meet you.
Good morning, Naomi!
What a beautiful thread of photos!
This little Finch looks adorable! His chant is nice?
Love also the gorgeous blue sky!
Thanks for those wonderful pictures. This post enchant my day!
Either you have a great zoom lens or those birds are very used to your presence, Naomi. I'm always envious of folks who can make those close shots. The Short People enjoyed them, too!
Here on the Eastern Shore we have lots of juniper and other fermented berries, and our birds actually DO get tipsy! They will become dizzy and sometimes fly into windows. So funny. Do you think they develop a habit and go back for more like a human would?
Oh, what a gracious little bird, and so adorable, too. I love to see birds enjoying their freedom like this, and not caged up. Reminds me of the quote: "The caged bird is pretty to look at, but it no longer sings." That's true of birds AND women, you know. ;)
I bet those are some happy little birdies with all that food about! How cute, I love your photos!
Good Friday morning to you, Naomi ! How are you doing ?
The way nature has provided for all of its creatures is amazing !
Never again will I think birds just eat worms for sustenance !
..sometimes I think they come there and pose just so you can take the pictures!
Oh there goes that finch again. Do you think he's the same finch before. He must be happily feasting over that fruit so red.
These are so cute!
Love, love, love your birdie :-) What a little cutie.
Just nipped across to tell you little bear has a name - at last :-)

Oh my dear,
how can I excuse? Not being commenting your, my fav blog site, for a while.
You know - a silver wedding arrangement is like a First Night Performance - Le Premiere - Opening Performance - Opening Night - Preparing for Wedding and honeymoon -
all in the most hectic season for Anna at school, me in business.
But I tell you, when in Argentina, you will be among my top 3 -after my kids - to comment and email. If I obtain and find an internet option.
Hugs from
Anna and Tor
ps. Have a wonderful time
I love seeing your birds enjoying the fruits of your cacti and your labors, Naomi!
Oh! These were wonderful shots of these little flighty friends. Thank you so much for sharing! I am indeed interested to know what kind of plant that was, because it is lovely and unusual... at least in the area i'm from.
P.S. Michele sent me.
Those last two shots look like the plant is going to eat the bird!
Hi Naomi! The birds really have it made in your garden of delights!!!
It's no wonder you get such an abundance of visitors when your garden puts on such a great banquet for them! They sure look like they are enjoying the spread. It's a wonder you watch televisdion with all this going on in your garden! LOL!
These little ones are just so lovely, I think I could sit in a chair and watch them all day. With a blanket, of course, it's getting a bit chilly out. :)
