More To Come......
Strangely enough this reminded me of the Hitchhikers' Guide to the Galaxy.
Your beautiful flowers show the natural magic of the curves and crinkles so well and this reminded me of that bit about adding the crinkly bits to Norway.
Oh well. Too much coffee I suppose.
Hello, Michele sent me today!
rashbre
nope! Surely not chopped liver! lol..
I see a Dalia in that first shot.. I used to have some in my garden, when I had a garden that is lol.. Loved them because they lasted really long when you grow them..
All gorgeous... naturally!
What lovely pictures of the individual flowers in your bouquet! Colours, textures, form, all are quite stunning. Yes, Nature's repertoire is endless. Beutiful.
But chopped liver has it's charms too!! LOL.
Naomi, I think you are getting these flowers from another planet, I have NEVER seen such gorgeous examples of floral beauty in real life. Of course it doesn't hurt that you are the best nature photographer alive today. I hate to keep turning your amazing skills into commercial possibilities but at the very least you should be licensing these images for notecards and calendars!
I enlarged the photo of the lily to cover my screen. It gave me a shiver because I found it's delicate paleness so serene and lovely that I wanted to be able to look at it over and over again so it is now my screen saver. I do love the photos from your collection and this one speaks to me in a whisper.
The rose reminded me of that fragrance Roses Roses.
I used to like buying that cologne when I was a teenager.
I just posted about my meeting Rachel. What fun it was to write that post and look back at the pictures I took during our visit in KY.
I haven't spoken to my brother since last Friday when he called to tell me he'd gotten a new truck. He bought a white, shortbed, Nissan Frontier.
I will try and catch him this afternoon or evening. If I don't get him, I'll leave a message asking him to call me back.
He's always busy once school starts, so he's not as easy to get ahold of. I'll be sure to urge him to call Betty, if he hasn't already done so. I'll let you know once I find out.
We finally have gotten some rain!! I told Rachel I'd do a rain dance and try and send some of it her way. I hope it works!!
This is truly beyond words...how wonderful that we can find this kind of beauty !!
Nope not chopped liver. Gorgeous pics. Must say tho my fac flower is the plain white Gardenia. Love their looks and heavenly smell. I finally got a good shot of my humming bird. If you would like to see it is here http://ninniespics.blogspot.com/
Love the lilly! I also love the delicate lavender coloring on the tips of the flower in picture #2. Picture number 4 reminds me of a tie-dyed cabbage. Nature is amazing! Your flower pictures are my favorites!
Naomi, you have shown great warmth and human kindness to another blogfriend today, and for that we all in the blogosphere thank you.
I know that Michele would join me in this today: she sent me her so I said it.
N.
gorgeous flowers! the creamy roses are my favorite.
here from michele's :0)
mck.
Lilies are one of my fave flowers and the first and last images you posted of the lily are just stunning!
I hope you had a nice weekend.
Michele sent me.
The pictures are lovely! I don't think I can look at flowers anymore without thinking of you! You have brought them up close and personal for me!! :)
Jamie Dawn's dance didn't work. Still no rain!
I just wanted to thank you for the mention and for your kind and caring emails. They have offered me much comfort and support and meant so much to me. I still can't beleive she has gone.
Those flowers are gorgeous by the way. Jessy would have loved them too. They're pink you see. Pink and yellow (or lellow as she called it) were her favourites.
Is there anything more spectacular than flowers? That peppermint striped rose looks like an old variety...did it smell as fabulous as it looked? And did I see a "Black Dahlia"? Poor flower has such an ugly connotation now.
And how did you manage to capture them so well? I felt like I should be able to reach out and feel velvety petals...
You remind me of me wondering what molecules or accident could have made something so beautiful as that red and white rose. I will stand and look at things like that and wonder how they did that...or how nature created something so wonderful.
As always your photos are breathtaking and I also really enjoyed your post below on Gordon and the little boat. I am off to see Bob Kat.
Beautiful flowers, Naomi! Stunning photos!
I am so sorry to hear about Bob Kat's niece.. So sad....what a tragedy... I am without words...
Many hugs my dear Naomi.
I was over at BK's blog earlier today, Naomi. It was shocking to read something so sad. Only 11 years old.
The flowers are quite beautiful, especially that lily.
Wow! I've never seen such beautiful flowers!
I will visit Bob-Kat, but first a comment on those beautiful, vibrant flowers. Your site is like a breath of fresh air, like online therapy. Thanks for taking the time to post these.
The flowers are amazing. I went to visit Bob Kat -- I cannot imagine losing my sweet niece.
Thank you Naomi for the tip about Bob-kat. I had no idea and will certainly go over there.
I think the rose is my favourite flower but when I see the deep wine coloured one in your bouquet I'm bowled over. Ir's fantastic.
Once again, your stunning flowers amaze me! They almost don't look real.
Thanks for sharing them.
Those are some really nice flower pictures. Thanks for stopping by and leaving a nice comment.

Still no return call or email from Jason. That bro of mine sure takes his time to respond!! He teaches all day, then plays for various things in the evenings, but THAT'S NO REASON to not call me back!!!
I'll give him a verbal lashing once he does call.
I just returned from the salon. I got my hair cut and colored. It is a gorgeous day here today. I hated to come inside the house.
I hope your day is going well. I'm sure you are ready for some nice, fall weather. I am too. Today is perfect, low humidity. Ahhhh...
I can always count on smiling after visiting, Naomi. The flowers are lovely. I've been a bad blogger. School has really knocked me good....but I am thrilled to be there! :)
What's wrong with me? They make me want to cry.
In a good way.
Your flowers are always so beautiful that they don't look real. Only they DO LOOK REAL because fake flowers are never that lovely.
Just wonderful.
Fabulous! Wow! Thank you!
Hi Naomi! These flowers must be specially picked -- they're perfect. Beautiful. Thank you.
Thank you for sharing your friend Bob-kat's blog. Sorry to read this.
I love the papery mottled looking pink and white one... I don't think I've ever seen a flower quite like that. Amazing! Beautiful photos, Naomi.
