I keep checking to see what you have to say about the Emmy nominations. Are you not allowed to say anything still?

Don't apologize. I think everyone has been slack on visits lately. It is summer time and we all have so much going on. I have only 2 days a week to visit now!

I love the hummers and look forward to your upcoming post...and you my dear in that matador outfit below....I just LOVED it. You look very nice in hats! I myself love a good hat!

Good healthy and happy Monday morning to you, Naomi !

Hummingbirds are awesome ! They come visit my garden frequently, and I secretly think they are little angels in disguise.

Can't wait to see your longer post and pictures of these amazing, delicate little creatures !

Thanks for the visit, Nalmi. Double dipping is when (for example) someone dips a chip into a bowl of dipping sauce, takes a bite and sticks the same chip back into the bowl. ICK!!

LOVE the hummingbird! I never see them around here very often, but I did get to see on Saturday as I was walking in the house. It was right next to me in my flowers and I just stood there and watched it for a good 20 minutes. They are amamzing little creatures, aren't they?
And don't apologize for not visiting. You are not obligated to visit everytime someone posts. I certainly don't expect you to, anyway!

You know, Naomi, I've been keeping my eye on hummingbird feeders (looking for a really nice one that blends with my colonial house)and now that you've posted this picture you've made the desire stronger. I love feeding the birds outside, although the chippies and skirlies (Fennie speak...lol)enjoy it more and always cut in line!

Great great shot!

We have all been busy with life, post when you can. I like hummingbirds. Can you imagine that we had a "cold" front move in today? It will be in the low 90's with low humidity.... I wouldn't call it a cold front, but our weather man did.

Hummingbirds are such interesting critters! I love watching them.

Stinky & Tiny Dog ended up staying at home alone. Sweety went home yesterday (i'll be back home this sunday) and he said they about jumped out of their skin when they saw him. I'm guessing they were pretty lonely.

I hope you are getting to meet JD!! Hopefully I will soon too! :)

I loved reading about Broderson part 3. All the parts have been so interesting. You should write a book Naomi. You are gifted at writing, along with your other many talents.

I really liked you in the Matador outfit! The hat looks good on you!!

Hi OOLOTH!
Thanks for stopping by my place this weekend. To clarify, "the spectrum" means the autism spectrum. My girls were diagnosed with PDD-NOS, a form of autism. For the most part, Early Intervention provided in-home therapy that addressed their physical and verbal delays. Hope that helped! Stop by again anytime!

Hi Naomi. You have at the same time managed to freeze unbelievably fast motion, yet at the same time convey a sense of motion in the bird's flight.

I can't stop looking at this image. Mind you, that's pretty common with all of your images: I often find myself just staring in awe.
