keith olbermann

Oh my, how I LOVE Keith Olbermann....He is the broadcasting voice of reason and sanity here in The United States Of America when it comes to telling the truth...not the 'truthiness', no.....but the "truth" truth....

Do go to this link, below and read about this brave and funny man who singlehandidly has gathered those of us that are so deeply discouraged and depressed watching our wonderful country being hijacked by these thugs in Washington and so deeply depressed about the path that they have put our country on with the current administration that acts like they are the dictators of the world.....He has gathered us and given us hope, just as another great newsman Edward R. Murrow did back in the early 1950's....And if you haven't heard any of his special words please do listen to his 'commentary's'. They are available on this Rolling Stone site too, and they are brilliant.

Here is the link:

This man is one of our only broadcasting hopes, at this time....and I thank God for his brave, caring, sensitive, smart and understanding voice!

Bravo to you dear Mr. Olbermann and I say Go Keith....Go!

More To Come......

I've heard him before and he's great. In such a down time in our country, we need a bit of optimism. The news only gets more despressing each evening.

My husband and I LOVE watching his show. Do you remember when he used to be the sportscaster for channel 2 news about 17 years ago? I remember because on my honeymoon cruise to Mexico, we had different L.A. Locals on the cruise who kept telling my husband that he looked just like Keith Olberman. lol. He does.

Great post and I completely agree. I go there and feel like there is hope that someone, so articulate and humorous at times, is speaking out for all of us with little voices and no way to reach so many. He has given some of the best commentaries I have ever seen-- full of facts and conclusions that can't be denied by anyone caring about facts.

I'll have to check him out. I'm always on the lookout for genuinely "fair and balanced" news. Thanks.

I so seldom watch NBC, but if you recommend him, I will check out that site and listen. Thanks, Naomi. I agree with you about what is happening. I saw a wonderful bumper sticker last week:

Frodo failed. Bush has the ring.

We will have to agree to disagree on this.

Off topic, but you never told us if your "friend's daughter" (?) won that contest for the song to be used on the TV show...hmm.. One Tree Hill? I haven't seen any of it so didn't know.

I love Keith too. He is by far my favorite at what he does. I often watch Chris Matthews too and I like it when they team up together for big events. Keith's show has really taken off in the ratings as well. I like the way Keith's format makes it easy for people (like me) that might otherwise become bored by news even if it is important. It helps my fidgety mind stay involved in the world!
Great post!

I so appreciate Keith O, such a wit and such a smart and articulate man. During the last election I read his blog religiously to follow the developments, but he hasn't posted since September now.
