Dear Larry Parks, Betty G.'s husband had the most beautiful rose garden, with the most gorgeous variety of roses in it....he was a sensational gardener, by the way, as well as being a fantastic friend....One year I bet I took 500 pictures of roses...all of them slides. One day when I have the proper equiptment to download these truly special pictures you will get to see some of them. Meanwhile, here is another special lovely flower..... This flower above is so soft looking and delicate. I don't know what it is but it sure is pretty....! I love the way the pink fades into cream....gorgeous!
More To Come.....
what glorious bright images. beautiful!
i haven't been here in the hills for ages! silly me.. i've been reading down. happy late anniversary babe. and i always love your stories and pictures.
note to self to get around here more often. sorry. been a bit busy with new work commitments and the twinlets.
but this was a treat as always :)
Oh, what beautiful images (as ever). They really lifted my spirit when I saw them. I love flowers but sadly rarely get given any, so I buy my own especially over winter as they really brighten up the place :0)
I really love the one of the orchid but that is probably because I love orchids. I have 3 in my bathroom which continually reflower and are simply gorgeous. One is pure white, one is a rich pink and one is a velvety purple.
gorgeous as always Naomi!..
only a calender?... I think in the time i've been reading your journal that you have enough great photo's for a Table Top Book!!
Oh wow! I love these pictures! The colors combinations, the shapes. You're right, they do look better larger. Is there any way to get on your list for one of those calendars? I wouldn't mind paying for such beautiful photos. :-)
Those are incredibly lovely. I love roses, as well. My favorite are yellow roses.

What a wonderful flowers, Naomi! Just stunning and breathtaking!
Great the idea of the calendar!
Have a lovely day as well! Many hugs!
Do you know what that vibrant red flower in the first picture is? I believe that is my favorite with the white contrast and touches of green.
Definitely happy flowers :) Perfect description of them!
The red flower in the first photo (SRP) is cockscomb. The orchid is a phaelenopsis, called the moth orchid.
Lovely, lovely images, Naomi! Good for you.
Absolutely lovely pictures Naomi!! Roses are all so pretty!! You certainly do take fantastic pictures!!

I need my thesaurus next time I visit, I am running out of adjectives :)
Hi again! guess what? Michele sent me your way to see the happy flowers again!!
Stopping by to say hello....
There was this delicious scent of blossoms weaving their way through my comment box - I followed them and discovered myself in a glorious garden of photos. Lucky me!
They truly are beautiful photos. Thank-you so much for sharing them.
You always know how to make me (and everyone else it seems) smile.
Beautiful pictures ! These pastel colors just look wonderful. Something to paint ! Unfortunately when I start light blue pastel, at the end it looks marine blue ! I can't stop myself all soft colors turn into very stong once !
They are beautiful, and anyone who gets a calendar with those images on them will be very privileged

hello michele sent me
happy flowers, sounds almost like bob ross. we've got some camelias and hydrangeas that every so often pose quite nicely for pictures, if only the people were so cooperative.
These are breathtaking, Naomi. My eyes are wowed by the colors. They're so....fresh! They seem to hover in a clear glow that reminds me of the wedding showers that were held for my wife. Everything was so clean and clear then, and these flowers take me right back to those moments.
Oops...forgot to mention that Michele sent me. Sorry about that: brain cloud.
Hi, Michele sent me back again. I think almost everyone is asleep, but it's only just after 8 pm in New Zealand
wow - speechless, my dear. What beautiful, perfect images. So amazingly clear and evocative.
Put me down for one of those calendars... :-)

Beautiful, Naomi. They can certainly brighten your day.
I think I'm in love! I want to rub noses with them.
First two are my colorful favorites. Wow, what great Shutterfly cards they would make, Naomi! Stunning! Great composition, and I agree, very happy.
