More To Come...........
NOTE: HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY TO ONE AND ALL!!!!
You bet there is!!
I love the photos of Sweetie. He reminds me so much of our beloved Snowball (who, alas, didn't have blue eyes).
Mr. kenju said to tell you that "My Sister Eileen" will be on later this month in a tribute to Betty Garrett. He will be watching, of course!
I just love Sweetie. Good for him for helping out around the house! How exciting to have a nest to watch. We have one by the pond. I hope the cats or snakes don't bother them.
Don't you just love Spring, the rebirth, the new life? It's such a hopeful, vibrant season!
Wow! It's great that the baby birdie is in the nest! I am looking forward to see them.
It's nice that your garden is blooming.
Sweetie looks lovely and beautiful with his gorgeous blue eyes!
Kisses to you both.
I remember the first time I saw a robin's next with the small aqua egg. I was amazed. Then, a few months later, there was nothing there accept the hatched egg remains. I spent the whole summer (I was about five) wondering when the robins would come "home."
Thanks for bringing back that memory.
Cheers.
wow it sure has been a long time since you've posted pictures of Sweetie!! He looks wonderful!!
awww you are an "Auntie" to a birdie!! lol.. there are many doves around here but I haven't come across any nests.
I saw kenju's comment about My Sister Eilenn, I am checking my TV listings!!
the bird is so pretty
and Sweetie looks wonderful
that makes me happy
Siren moves art on the walls with his butt
Good to see Sweetie is helping you keep your lovely art collection straight? Perhaps I could borrow him after our next Earthquake?):-
Smashing post: birth, growth and Sweetie looking fit and well and on top of his game. I hope all this is helping you to overcome the sadness.
(((hugs)))
All beautiful like usual.. Just love them all..
Great photo of the dove!! I've watched several generations of nesting doves myself, and always love it.
Sweetie is adorable.
We've got a big agave here that's doing the same thing. Can't wait for it to bloom!
Love the photo of sweetie....looks like sweetie is thinking...Cant wait til momma lets me out I am bored....mmmm love the sun......the flower pics always make me thinking that spring is a new beginning..new season new possibilities...i wish the new year started in april or may...hope all is well with you...zman sends
There are many mourning doves here on the desert. They are the laziest of nest builders and I am afraid the nest and eggs that are near our front door have blown down.
I love the beautiful blue eyes on your cat. She is always welcome to visit and straighten picture frames and while she is at it, perhaps, she could catch the mouse that is in the garage. LOL
our feeders have been exceptionally active this year---lots of different birds.
The agave looks kind of like an asparagus stalk. I wonder if there is a connection?
Can't wait to see the baby. Maybe due to the uncertain economy, they are cuting down the family size.
Sweetie is just the most beatuiful cat and a bit compulsive but in a good way.
I saw Judy's comment about My Sister Eileen and will check also.
Last year when we were in Tucson at this time we saw a nesting mourning dove with two growing babies in it. Before we left, they were able to leave the next. This year the next had been knocked down and a dried up baby body was on the ground which we think means pack rats had gone after the nest and the babies. We are trying to think of a way to protect the nest space from that happening again if she comes back to try to rebuild
Hello Naomi, Sweetie has the most amazing face, excellent name I think.
Lovely to see the photos and clearly spring has sprung in your neck of the woods. Lilly xx
sweetie is beautiful....oh a bird egg(s)....how cool...
have a great day...hope you have sun..we are in clouds out here today...again.
And Happy Mother's Day to you Naomi. Well, you're Sweetie's mom, aren't you?
My doves hatched, fledged and grew up. Mom came back to same nest and had two more. First day they fledged, Mr. Crow came. I won't tell you the rest. I used to like crows. Used to.
Hugs to you.
Ahhh...baby doves!! How sweet!
The flowers are so pretty and interesting. I love seeing photos of Sweetie! He is looking great and how sweet of him to help get the pictures just right!! LOL
xxoxx
Sweetie looks good! And hatched eggs and nesting in springtime always makes me feel hopeful. You have front row seat!
ha! Sweetie is adorable. :)
Baby birds! I can't wait to see what you see (through your camera).
Springtime is coming! Springtime is coming! Sometimes I feel like Jammie in Wonderland. hehe
These are the gifts that make life worth living. Those are the deepest blue eyes I've ever seen on a cat.
Looking forward to seeing pics of the little ones when you see them in the nest - how exciting! (I nearly put egg-citing but resisted, LoL!)
The photos of Sweetie are gorgeous. It's nice to see him earning his cat food :)
I did come by and comment the day blogger crashed but it obviously lost it :( Still, I loved all the pics, particularly of Sweetie who is looking gorgeous. Glad to see he is pulling is weight with the chores, LoL! :)
