More To Come..........
Note: I would really be remiss if I did not acknowledge the passing of the truly sublime Patricia Neal...I was lucky enough to see Pat Neal on Broadway, in three different plays...Two of them were especially important: Her Tony Award winning performance as the young Regina, in "Another Part Of The Forest" by Lillian Hellman, in 1946, (The same Regina who in 'The Little Foxes' is older and more predatory). And then, I saw her again, in the memorable revival if Lillian Hellman's "The Children's Hour", 1952...She was, in a word, BRILLIANT in both these very important plays.....She was perfection on film, too.....My personal favorites..."A FACE IN THE CROWD" (Below, with Andy Griffith---a wonderful film),"HUD", and "BREAKFAST AT TIFFANY'S". Of course there were many many more....like "THE SUBJECT WAS ROSES", made after her very debilitating stroke, when they thought she would never walk or talk again, let alone "act"....Her life, personal and otherwise, was filled with great tragedy, But she was a true survivor. Her personal story is inspirational in every way. She will be missed.
RIP dear Pat Neal......Sounds like Sweetie wants to come home and get back to his routine. Glad to hear the good news.
WONDERFUL news about Sweetie. When that baby comes home, I will be doing a happy dance with you. I know you have missed him so. Spoil that little baby, you have both had a tough week.
Loved the video. That bird wasn't about to share was he?
I was an admirer of Patricia Neal also and was so impress how she came back from her stroke. I have the feeling, life was just not easy for that talented lady.

I love to watch birds interact :)
And On Patricia Neal, what a great life she had. She lived it fully and raised children who were capable of their own wonderful lives which in her world is quite a challenge.
Dear Naomi,

Iza and Siren are very relieved
Patricia Neal was a wonderful actress and a class act
Sweetie looks good. I will keep up the prayers though, it has to be tough him. (and you) Patricia Neal, what a tough broad. We know one day they will go, as we all will, but it still always gives us pause and reflection. especially for someone like you with so many fond memories.
Very glad to hear that Sweetie is recovering, how wonderful it will be when you can bring him home! His "intention" will be on you then :-)
HA!! Great birdie video~~they just do not share well, tho there was plenty of water for all...MINE!
Sorry to hear of Pat Neal's passing...I never had the honor of seeing her stage performances, but she stared on screen opposite many fine leading men..."In Harm's Way" with John Wayne, one of my favorites.
Welcome Home Sweetie!!!! I believe you and Sweetie are both in 7th heaven about now! hugs and chin tickles!
All right. Normally wouldn't check on a Sunday but had to see if Sweetie was home. Now everything is right with the world. Enjoy eachother, spoil eachother and cuddle lots. I am so happy for your both. Keep getting better Sweetie. Mighty, Mickey and Minnie send their very best.
Fabulous news Naomi.
Give Sweetie a little tum rub from me. =)
How wonderful to see that he's home and eating :) He has to be so happy as we can't explain any of it to them and they just have to trust in our love without the words to reassure them.
Naomi, I'm SO VERY HAPPY to hear that Sweetie is home and eating!! I'm so glad you have your dear baby and friend back again, and I know he's so glad to be home!! I hope he continues to get better and better! xxxoxx
Oh, I loved the bird video too!! He sure wasn't wanting to share though!!
I'm very glad to hear that Sweetie has come home from the vet's, and that he seems to be recovering from whatever ails him. I know how much he means to you, Naomi.
I hope that he keeps feeling better. He must be so happy to be home. It must have been quite traumatic for him to spend so much time in the kitty hospital.
I'm so so glad for you (and Sweetie) that he is home!

Hi Nay, That was such a perfect video moment that you captured! How you didn't break into a laugh shows great control! Amazing!!
Glad the kitty is doing better and he's finally home. I know how difficult that was for you.
Love you, Audrey
( When Michael is done with this project we'll figure out a visit.
Sweetie is home, what good news, hooray.
Welcome home, Sweetie! Your mama missed you very much, so let her pamper you like crazy. Give lots of purrs, and maybe she will open a tuna fish can and drain the liquid out for you! My dear cat, Nikki, absolutely loved that treat!
Glad to hear the good news.
Appreciated your comments about Patricia Neal. I, too, enjoyed her performances though I was never fortunate enough to see her in person. I was quite saddened to hear of her death announced on the news. I was always intrigued with her recovery efforts following a devastating stroke. I'd been planning a piece about stroke with intentions of mentioning some of her experience, but now will have to alter my comments.
