I found a rather graphic cartoon which may give you just a little idea of one of the things my body has been going through.....I hope it won't offend anyone....It just seemed to speak for me without me having to explain in great detail, verbally speaking....... Well....I realize it says "Rodney", but it could say my name or any one's name. Anyway, even that is improving.....So, I hope to be able to pop by and visit everyone in a day or two.....And please know that I thank you all so very much for your lovely concerned comments....I hope all of you are well and having a lovely weekend.....And for those who are sickly too, please please please, do feel better very very soon......
More To Come........
Note: Today is the Anniversary of December 7th, 1941.....the attack on Pearl Harbor, which brought the United States into World War 2.....Many lives were lost that day. May we remember all of them, and all those wounded, too, on this day, 67 years ago.
Note 2: 9:40a.m. Slight relapse this A.M. OY! I am sure it will pass.....At least I hope it will.....This is one mean bug!
Yes!!! I am so glad you are slowly feeling better!!!
Oh Naomi,
I am so glad to hear that you are feeling better and are on the mend.
May your Sunday be filled with healing and happiness!
Ann
*So* glad you're feeling better. I hope that the rest of your recovery is speedy..
Naomi, I didn't know that your had been sick! I hope you are feeling better. Now see what happens when you hang around cemeteries. Stay away from there...
Today is my mom's birthday....She was 13 years old on the day of the bombing. They were just about to start her birthday party when the news came over the radio that Pearl had been bombed.....I remember her telling me that it ruined her birthday party...Mom is gone now but I remember her birthday every year because of Pearl Harbor.
Hi Naomi - I didn't know you were under the weather. Glad to see you are on the mend. We have a snowy NH here. Hope the weather for you is conducive to getting outside for a spell of fresh air!
Chatty and the boys
Hurrah for wellness (almost) and I hope that you will soon be 100% again. There are Mansion Christmas photos waiting at my place.
I hope you feel better soon! What with having IBS and a few other problems I can sympathise with that cartoon LOL! :D
Bugs are soo horrible I hope that you are recovering if not recovered. Look after yourself
Goodness. Hope you feel better soon. There is so much going around right now. I had my teeth cleaned Wednesday and got a cold 24 hours or so after which I am hoping will soon be better-- although I will miss having Lauren Bacall's voice. Winter. Ah joy
Hope you feel better 100% soon, Naomi - my empathy !
That cartoon is hilarious! It speaks volumes, doesn't it?
Continue to rest and take care until you are fully recovered. You will get around to visiting all your blog buddies in time, butt (I mean but) for now, the important thing is for you to get completely well.
My parents' anniversary is today. I never forget it because they were married on Pearl Harbor Day.
Pearl Harbor Day and 9-11-01 are such enormous tragedies in our nation's history. I hope we never suffer losses like those again.
I'm thankful you are in your own home. I had a similar attack in India and I have never had such an explosive experience. Fortunately we had a courier who was magical and knew exactly what to do so I could manage to keep the medicine down and carry on the tour next day. All I wanted to do was be at home in my own bed.
Carry on getting better.
I'm still laughing about that cartoon...and having worked at a dr's office, I have to tell you that it's not too far from the truth!
Dear Naomi, I am so glad to hear that you are feeling better!
I hope you have a nice week ahead!
Many hugs!
I'm glad you're feeling better :)
Naomi,
I have been reading your blog for about a year now. I love it. I love your birthday parties and how you share the happy times with your friends. I love the nature photos. I love your rememberances and memories. Thank you!!! Feel better and much strength to you.
I feel you (as the kids say)---been there done that; this too shall pass. My warmest hopes for a speedy recovery.
Another relapse? Sing, you sinner:
Oh, Johnny, oh, Johnny how you can flush!
Oh, Johnny, oh, Johnny be kind to my tush
You make my sore arse settle down
And when water swirls I just can't sit still a minute!
Oh Johnny, oh, Johnny please tell me doo(doo)
Whatever makes me run to you?
To me you're handsome its true,
So when I sit on you
I just oh, johnny, oh, johnny..ooooaaaah
(to the tune of "Wee Bonnie Baker's" Oh, Johnny)
the fat lady
I am glad that you are finally feeling better now. Take care always Naomi!
Well, this is not supposed to happen! You aren't supposed to get sick!
I hope you get rid of the bug soon.. it sure takes more out of us as we grow older.. you take care of yourself Naomi.
I hope that the relapse was truly the end of it, and that the days of feeling "icky' are over.
Loved the cartoon you shared.
Damn relapse!! Make sure you don't do too much too soon
Love the cartoon, poor Rodney and poor you.
always thinking of you Lady
Hugs from over here!! xx
SO glad to hear you are doing better, i've been popping in and checking, hoping for a positive update! Be well dear lady.
LOL at your cartoon!!! That virus is no fun Naomi and I feel for you. Seems it's been with you long enough now. I hope you are feeling so much better today.
DO take care of yourself. Hugs to you!!!! ((((((((HUGS))))))))))
so glad you're feeling better
xox
I've been thinking about you, Naomi, and I'm glad to know you're feeling better.
I love the cartoon, btw. It's better than an actual photo, in this case. :)
I wish you a full recovery!!
I'm glad you're on the mend. I was worried about you.
we're all dealing with a wicked cold in my family. i've had to sit up to sleep for the last 5 nights because of the incessant hacking.
ah, the bugs, the bugs!
Glad you are feeling better dear Naomi - there are a lot of "bugs" going around. Take good care of yourself and drink lots of juice and water. :) xo
I'm so sorry you've had this and hope the relapse is not a true relapse. Get well soon. We miss you.
Sorry you haven't been feeling well Naomi. I wish you a speedy recovery my dear. xx
Oh no... so sorry to hear about the relapse, I sincerely hope it is only temporary!
It is wonderful to hear that you can at least see the light at the end of the tunnel so to speak! I so hate tummy bugs. They just shut you down. I hope you are completely healed soon.
I hope you're back on the mend. Take it easy. We'll all still be here when you're well.
Cheers.
I'm sorry you are not feeling well. I was the same way for 10 days and my Doctor told me to take some Fiber Pills. (Puts some bulk ) I recovered the same day. I wanted to run and give him a hug! I certainly had gotten good at running! LOL
Hi Naomi! Glad you're feeling better and hope you recover 100 per cent! I want and wish Naomi to visit me soon!!!
I was in stitches when I saw the cartoon which speaks volume...take care. LOL.
I've been fighting a nasty cold for a week. I'm so tired of coughing and wheezing. Glad you're on the mend. I'm hoping to be better soon too. Loved the cartoon BTW, very appropriate!
Dearest Naomi,
I am so sorry to be away for such a long time and glad to know that you are back on the road to recovery.
Take care and be well.
Luv
shionge
I hope you are feeling better by now and that you got my email as well. Sending lots of gentle hugs from this side of the world
Naomi- if its what I think you mean, it's been going around. My other half got it on Friday and spent the weekend in the bathroom. Then it morphed into a sore throat and head cold. Blech.
Hope you feel better soon.
I do hope you've managee to shake the bug!
Thanks for the visit, Naomi, you must be feeling better (I hope). I am glad you enjoyed the Mansion photos.
Gosh, sounds like this "bug" really got the best of you. Almost sounds like a bacterial type germ.
I sure hope the worst is "behind" you now....pun intended! (smile)
Feel better, Naomi!
