More To Come..........
Note: Thank you dear blogger buddies for your caring comments during my stomach trials.....I am much much better now and I will be getting around to visit all of you, slowly but surely.....Thanks for bearing with me..........
I am glad you are feeling better. The picture of the reflection is a perfectly beautiful image. I am big on reflections also and they don't come along all the time
The first photo is breathtakingly beautiful, Naomi! The tree reflection is amazing. The photo series is delightful. As you know, I love angels too = thanks. So glad you are feeling better. :) xo
Glad you are feeling better!!!!
Your favorite shot is wonderful, I know the feeling of the current favorite shot, lol!
The little birdie is simply adorable!!
Enjoyed your shots as always.
Take good care of yourself!
The bird could be a Junco. They are small, white belly and charcoal gray backs.
Naomi, I'm so glad to hear you are feeling better. Sometimes it takes awhile to get over these things.
The pictures are wonderful! Not sure of the bird on the angel. I have a hard time telling one bird from the other! I love the reflection photo!! That is so pretty!!
That first picture looks amazing ... I love his reflection!
What a peaceful spot!
I'm glad you're up and about, dear. Continue on the mend and continue posting Audubon-worthy photos!
Cheers.
Beautiful photos of a calm and serene spot. I love that first one too; the reflections are fabulous!
What lovely photo sharing Naomi, as if I was there with you...so graceful in a peaceful surrounding :D
I am much relieved to see you are better and posting again !
Your current favorite picture is really a beauty! It's always been strange to me that I can take sooooo many photo's and only now and then does one come along that just hits me as something special.
I enjoy all of your pictures Naomi!
awesome pics! gald 2 hear your feeling better. i bet u could sell them pics 2 some mag they are awesome!
I love how you appreciate God's creatures great and small... as well as other things!
I'd love to have a large marble angel in my yard. I do have a medium sized status of "The Bird Girl" from Savannah, GA.
Naomi, that goose would look great on my table!
So glad you are feeling better.
God bless you!
Kendra
So pleased you are feeling much better :)
This cemetary really does seem like an oasis of peace and calm and nature. You rphotos are as wonderful as ever and I love the first one two with the goose mirrored in it's reflection. I know what you mena about them seeming vulnerable despite their size but they can stand up for themselves! We had a family on the lake where I work and I had to walk past them on the path one day while their goslings were still young. Oh, how the parents hissed and tried to appear bigger. I told them not to be so silly and managed to pass with my limbs intact but I am sure they would have attacked had I got too close!
I'm so glad you are nearly back to normal... well, WHAT IS normal any way??
:-)
I mean you are on the mend and hopefully able to eat and not be running to the toilet in a panic.
It's good that you are back in Blogdom again, writing and able to visit your buddies.
I know I always enjoy visiting here and receiving your visits.
Continued recovery to you!
The photos are so calming and peaceful.
Naomi,
I am so glad to hear you are recovering from your recent illness.
I loved the picture "Reflections." I see why it is your favorite.
I'm SO glad to hear you're feeling much better. Gosh, you really had a time of it.
Love your photos. Especially those angels. I love angels of any kind, but those were really nice. And I loved how you caught that bird on the wing. Very nice.

Dear Naomi, first of all I am so glad you are feeling better!!!
Loved all pictures, but the first one with the reflection on water, is just a breathtaking and gorgeous image. Love also the duck under the protection of the wings's angel, on the 5# photo. So meaningful! The little bird resting on the top of the angel's wing is just adorable! You always took great photos, Naomi! Thanks for sharing this beauty with us!
That first picture is "picture perfect" The reflection in the water is amazing.
Love it :)
So glad you are feeling a little better. I hope you are 100 percent again soon.
I love reading about all the joy that you get from seeing a little bird. Is it a titmouse?
Now the geese - that's a different story, because here in PA, we consider rthem a big pain in the arse (as my Irish grandmother used to say!)
Dear Naomi, I just saw your name at Jammie J's and I thought I had better come and say Hi!
I was sorry to hear that you were sick and sorry that I hadn't even wished you get well wishes.
Hope you will be feeling better.
These are such beautifl pictures!
We have lots of ducks in our area, and a few swans too.You just better keep that Johnny G. away from those lovely "geese" Not nice!
Although the duck pictures are so cute Naomi, my most favourite picture here is the little sparrow.
Something inside me just is so attracted to these little guys
We see them at our bird feeder all year through and even though I am a lover of cats, I shoo any who come near that bird feeder away. Lickity split!!
Take care dear neglected[by me!] friend and give Sweetie a hug from me!....Love Terry
Lots of life in a cemetery - I love it. That angel looks very familiar; has it been in movies or something? It just looks very familiar that's all. What a great outing you had that day Naomi - you must've taken hundreds of photos! Lol!!
That top photograph is ace - one of your best ever. I wonder if that is a heart the first angel is holding? And one naughty little bird looks as if he has left a calling card on the other angel. I'm finding I have a developing interest in birds - partly through your influence and from a great book I have just read which has twitching (bird watching) as a background and symbol of the action. We don't have such rare birds as you do but I am now keeping the binoculars to hand so I can watch the garden birds.
So glad your on the way to total recovery.
I love the angel pictures. I love angel statues too. I've always said I want an angel statue with arms outstretched toward heaven on my grave. I don't know if anyone ever listened. *laughter* Have a great Friday!
The dark bird on the white angel's wing makes a beautiful contrast. Wow! You know how to wait around for the perfect shot, Naomi. It pays to be patient with a camera...something I don't know ANYTHING about, but I must learn! You inspire me.
I also love the reflection of the bird in the water in some of the pics. Well done, my friend.
Don't you just love when those surprise shots come out. I also like the first angel one almost as much. They make me want to be there. Here it's cold and windy. Although I did see baby Bryce today so that warms me up.
So so glad you are better, Naomi.
I love the bird on the angel's wing.
I don't blame you, that is an awesome picture. I love it when I fall in love with my own shots. Just something that tickles my own fancy! Sometimes others may not even get it.
I do hope you are healing everyday and getting back to your old self. It sounds like you had one doozy of a bug. Take care of yourself and I hope your card from the Clarks arrives safely. I am excited for you to see our "project" this year. I think you'll like it! The Thugs were a big help this year!
You always have the most lovely of photos, Naomi! Thanks for sharing them.
Also, if you are looking to have some fun with the Meet n' Greet... It's not dead! I'm carrying on Michele's tradition over at netchick.net.
I hope to see you over to play!
Hugs,
Tanya
the reflection in your (for now) favorite shot is lovely
I have always found vulnerable things to have an extra added beauty attached to them - a beauty we see with the heart not the eyes
your photos capture that
glad you are feeling better
Hello, NetChick sent me this time to say that I really like that top photo - but, I also like all the others.
Glad to see you are feeling a bit better!!!
Hello, NetChick sent me.
I hope I never take a picture that I think is really outstanding. I'm satisfied with 'pretty good' sometimes. If I took the perfect image I might find that afterwards. every time I go to click the shutter, the scene that I am framing would seem inadequate. I might stop taking pictures.
I'm glad you're feeling a wee bit better. I truly hope you're back to normal soon! The sooner the better!
I love birds -- all of them. Having a little bird now that we've adopted, I'm always on poop watch. So, of course, leave it to me to point out that the dear sweet little one sitting on the angel done went and pooped on her wing! That little pooper! :)
Dear Naomi,
Hope that your strenfth keeps getting a little bit better every day :)
I find cemetaries to be such places of beauty and peace... There is a communion there that is sacred, for souls have such wisdom and love to impart...
Dear Miss Little old lady of the Hills, I read your comments regarding the Mike Wallace interviews regarding Diana Barrymore. As a person very interested in Diana Barrymore I am now curious about yourself. If you have any anecdote at all, you mention seeing her on stage, I'm all ears.
Merry Christmas to you and those you love,
Michael
