I hope there is a high vote turn over!! following the election from the old continent ...
:)
I'm on my way to drop off my absentee ballot at the poll. Whenever I make it to the last week without mailing- that's what I do.
Then I'll go by to kiss my favorite veteran- my mother-
I took some photos at the polls for the paper and the blog. It was such an upbeat atmosphere, although we, sadly, still have some remnants of racism in pockets in our county.
Am so anxious regarding this election, and the outcome, and just what it really means to the future of this country, and for our children. Have not gone to vote yet, will have to do it after work. Hopfully history is made today. Pat from NY.
I will vote right after work. I, too, want to wake up to a President-elect Obama!
Here's hoping... [crosses fingers *really* tight]
AMEN! I hope so too.
Whatever you vote: good luck!
Btw: Come on over and celebrate with me Naomi!
Well I did vote, and I expect that you will get your wish Naomi! Are you really going to get onto the roof?!! :) Have someone get some pictures if you do!!!
I voted by absentee ballot. I noticed more traffic than usual at the polling places.
I've written about the total ass hattery of the California GOP over on my blog! Tommorrow I"ll write about what my 12 year old overheard at school.
Today is, indeed, a proud day for America.
President Barak Obama!
I never thought I would see this in my lifetime.
And Obama won.
NAOMI, GET OFF THE ROOF!!!!!
CHEERS! We won!!! I would high five you if I could. How did prop 8 go?
Congrats to USA and the World.
This is historical.
Yezz, it did came true. USA for ALL Americans.
It will be a very tough challenge.
I hope he and his team will make it
