Isn't that old Mother Nature just so inspiring....?
Uplifting is a good word :-)

What a fantastically beautiful arrangement. I can see immediately why looking at it makes you feel better!
As ever, your pictures are beautiful. You really do have a talent for capturing nature in pictures.
I am so glad to hear that you are feeling much better :-) As ever, hugs to you and Sweetie from me and Bob.
Isn't it nice, how vibrant flowers can make you feel?
Michele sent me to say hi and to admire your beautiful flowers.
glad to hear you're feeling better! I hope an ill wind didn't blow the a-choos from the fire in your direc tion, or if it did that you kept the windows closed (lol).
I love roses!...and lilacs! ..not a very good combination though hahaha..
for whatever reason, they do make you feel better. I wonder why that is? Perhaps its the beautiful aroma they give.
I am SO happy to hear you're feeling better, Naomi.
Those flowers are extraordinary. I swear you have the most gorgeous flowers out there! And then factor in the "artist" that does the spectacular arrangement. It's truly awesome and I'm so impressed that you just ordered them for you, just because. I'm sure that added to perking you up. Glancing at those lush colors at will goes a long way to making one feel better. "I" feel better just viewing the photos of them! So thanks for sharing.
Yes, nature is lovely and inspiring whether in the house or outside! I love fresh flowers in the house though. So uplifting!!
This is indeed a lovely arrangement that you got for yourself! So nice of him to deliver it personally.
Reading your last post, it looks like you have lots of DVD's to look at!!
So glad you are feeling better dear Naomi!! Give Sweetie a kiss for me!!
Gorgeous gorgeous flowers - thank you for sharing them! And so glad you are feeling better!
What a gorgeous flowers, Naomi! The bouquet is very creative! This designer and florist did a wonderful work!
Have a nice and perfumed weekend!
Purdy flowers.
I just wanted to let you know I'm back. I quit for a couple months. I'm blogging but at a new place.
You are cordially invited to drop my blog for my 100th post and what I hope will be a nice surprise for you there! :-)
I'm glad to know that you're feeling better Naomi. I hope that your recovery continues until you feel better than ever.
I was happy to hear that the fire in the LA hills didn't hurt anyone. Given your health, I hope the smoke didn't blow your way. I'm sure that was some nasty stuff.
I glanced at your Emmy post below but want to read it with more focus before commenting. It's looks quite interesting, Naomi. I hope you get a chance to watch a lot of material before you have to vote.
These are beautiful flowers.
I was thinking of you today when I saw teh pictures in our English papers of the fires in the area behind the Hollywood sign in LA.
I hope it stays a long way away!

My gosh, that arrangement is absolutely stunning. I don't think I've ever seen such pretty colors, I love the orange flowers.
I am so glad that you are feeling better!
My thoughts and prayers remain with you.
Keep clicking that camera because you have a wonderful talent for capturing the beauty!
Thank you for posting the beautiful floral arrangements. I have never seen anything like them and I am amazed at how gorgeous they are. The colors are vibrant! All of the arrangements are very artisic!
Thanks you again for sharing them. I am using one of the previous ones for a screen saver and it is lovely and makes me feel good.
Huggles and Love,
Raggedy
I am so glad you're feeling better, Naomi. Although I was mostly disconnected this week because of my trip, I think you and I had a kinship, because I fell ill while I was in San Francisco.
I was walking to the Golden Gate Bridge when I suddenly felt incredibly green. I guess the travel and stress finally caught up with me. I grabbed what few pictures I could, then headed back, terrified that I'd lose it in the middle of a strange city, far from anyone I knew.
I made it back to my hotel - taking pictures on the bus whenever the nausea subsided enough - and went to bed. I spent the rest of the trip severely compromised, but I was able to attend all the events and participate actively in them.
Still, it's great to be home. Your flowers brought a smile to my face and to my heart. I wish you nothing but good health for now and forever.
What a wonderful feast for the eyes!
I am so glad you indulged and bought these for yourself. I am also so glad to hear you are feeling better.
I hope the glorious colors of the flowers keep filling you with happy feelings.
I bet that florist is thrilled to know how much enjoyment you get from his creativity.
What a gorgeous bouquet of flowers. I think you really got them from a secret lover you don't want to tell us about. Hmmmmmm???
Honestly, I wish I could find a florest that did work that beautifully. It's remarkable.
Here from You Know WHo tonight.
Dear Naomi...Flowers can make the heart sing. Your bouquet is exquisitely beautiful and sings a lovely melody. I'm so glad you are feeling better.
Beautiful!!!! So glad you're better!
Hey... my daughter is going to be working in Topanga CA for three weeks in May. Is that a nice place?
They are gorgeous flowers, Naomi. I am so glad he got to see the dried arrangement; it must have been gratifying for him!
The new arrangement has so many different kinds of flowers in it (just my style!) I love the orange ranunculus.
Those are beautiful!
They're so beautiful! :D I love arrangements like that.
I hope you're having a good weekend. Take care.
P.S. - Michele says Good Morning!
Naomi, David Hyde Pierce was not in the show the night I saw it. I don't think he is doing it now. When I get home, I will look at the playbill again and see who was in the cast. None of them was familiar to me, except the woman who plays the chaperone is from NC (Beth Leavel).
Joared has asked me to tell you that she has not been able to leave a comment for you for some time now. It tells her she has the wrong password, or something like that. Is it okay if I give her your email address?
Lovely pictures. Upon seeing it the heaviness in my heart just lifted up. Thanks for the wonderful photos
I adore flowers...they are so beautiful...and yours are stunning...I love the orange one:)
I'm glad you feel better:)

Maria
Outstanding phots! I certainly can understand why beautiful flowers can be uplifting.

Gorgeous colours! I love the oranges!!!
Good for you for treating yourself :)
These are stunning.. what an extraordinary florist you have there. Simply fabulous. Glad to hear you are feeling better.
How beautiful.
I love flowers...they always make me smile. :)
Mostly, I love when my rose bushes bloom. That is such a satisfying feeling.

I am so glad you are feeling better! I hope you will be completely well soon.
I loved your flower pictures. Like you I just love them...they just make life so much better! It is amazing at how much softening the side of that photo drew you into the floweres themselves....very nice touch.
They are very healing! I feel better for having seen this arrangement of wonderful wonders!
Naomi, thanks for recommending Lancaster. I really do want to go back. I have read some books about the Amish recently, and they are fascinating to me, plus that area is so beautiful.
The hotel was just amazing, for a residence Inn. The dining room was very nice and so tastefully decorated. It had ceilings about 20 feet up, and a curved staircase. My daughter is an attn'y at Marriott, so she was able to get us a very good rate!
No hotels in the city would give us the employee rate last week, due to the NIT, I guess. The best rate we could get in the city was about $400 per night!
Very lovely. :)
I'll try once again to comment on those incredibly colorful flower arrangements.
Did you wave your magic wand after all these weeks, or are you one of the lucky few with an email address to let Google/Blogger know there's a problem? ;-)
Whatever -- suffice to say I've enjoyed your posts even if I couldn't let you know. Sorry you were under the weather earlier and how about that bobcat! I'm going to keep my eyes open out here.
What beautiful flowers! Isn't it amazing how flowers seem to make everything better! Hugs to you!
Absolutely exquisite arrangement ! What a talented florist ! I have used 'The Empty Vase' before, but this person is even better !
Gorgeous. Simply gorgeous. I got roses for my anniversary a week and a half ago that were spricot in the middle with red tips. They are now dried and mixed in with my other roses and flowers from previous times. I can't wait for the roses in my yard to start blooming.
I hope you keep getting better quickly, we have all been struck by the virus at our house too. Blech

The orange cabbagey roses are my favorites. Wow.
