To bring in the New Year I'm having a little "party" tonight, as I have been doing for many many years---and of course, pictures will be posted after this wonderful new year has begun, I promise....

Your family pics are wonderful to see, you mentioned all being able to sit at the same table.
I'd forgotten about that, must be another of those age things, when the kids are grown and off doing their own thing - I can recall the fun we used to have finding everybody somewhere to sit, and the kids at their own table, and the high-chairs for the babies, and the nanas asleep in the corner - oops, that's me now - another one to add to the list on the 'pro' side - allowed to go to sleep in the corner chair while the young ones do dishes - woohoo...

We attended a neighborhood party. There are only six houses built so far, besides the models, and all six families attended. It was nice getting to know our neighbors.
