Sorry, no name for that. But the San Diego Balboa Park cactus garden is full of blooms on things that never look like they would have any part of them soft and colorful.
- did you figure out how to put photos where you want them?
CHATTY--LOL LOL LOL,
I LOVE, HARRIET!!!
Ouchythornycopus! Failing which, I call this Victoria. cheers!
Joe--Great Name Joe!..(lol)...It's interesting that two people, so far, chose women's names! Although I realize Jor, yours was an alternate....Hmmmmm. Is there a message here?
Oh dear! Let's see. The flower part kind of reminds me of a poppy. So how about a "poppycactus?"
It looks like a rose in the desert. Duh...desert rose?
Very purty photo by the way.
I would probably call it "Ow". Very loudly.
A Prickly Prick!
I like Margaret's desert rose. I have one tall cactus with white, sort of long flowers (?), missed a picture this year but I will show you that next summer! oh, and I should probably google images so that I can find its name.
Congrats on being the "daily question"!!!!
its deffinately different to see something so wicked have such a soft side... i would have to name it something like "Spencer's Love"
(its shameless, i know, but you are up in the hollywood hills, and i did descibe Katherine Hepburn... oh, you thought i was talking about the plan when i said wicked?)
ove the cactus, OLdOld, but I won't print here what I first thought when you asked about naming it! LOL
Thanks for the comment on the angel fan. I knew nothing about the artists before I started putting the fans on the blog. In fact, I am learning right along with you - and I am glad I started blogging about them so I know more about the fans. I bought them for their aesthetic value, but I never paid any attention to the artist's names before.
Wow, I am one sicko. All I can think it "penises! but let's shave them!"
I'm going back to sleep. Maybe I'll wake up with something else on my mind.
I hope you've received the books by now? Let me know.
Desert Bloom? lol I dunno. Anyway thanks so much for your kind comment on my Feather Quill blog.
It's nice to know I'm not the only one who feels that way.
PIPES? You collect pipes? So does my husband, as well as tobacco tins and other tobacciana. Tell me about your pipes, please??
I used to collect pipes...but the cops took them as evidence.
I would call the cactus "Phallus eroticus" or not.
Can't think of any names but it's a great photo!
Nice pix. I'd name her Gypsy Rose.
I'd call it "Brave Flower."
That sounds like an Indian name. How, me Brave FLower.
i'd call her gertie, she sure is pretty!
