Happy 4th of July even though I am writing this on 6th of July! I spent the 4th at a lovely summer cottage in the Haliburton Highlands, no email, no internet! Just sunshine and swimming and boating.
Dear Naomi, it was so wonderful to have you visit me, for I have been very scarce at blogging, and so I smiled hugely when I read your comments! Your own picture here for the Fourth is sweeter than sugar, a kitten playing in a little flag hammock...I thought of Sweetie when I saw it :). I read your last post, too, with the gorgeous flower pictures that you've magically transferred from slide to internet, for us to enjoy. You also said that you've been very tired and that's why you haven't been blogging as much as usual (plus stupid blogger has been giving you problems), but I wanted to tell you how much I understand the intense lack of energy that you feel, because fatigue is one of my worst symptoms of my MS. I have to accept that I'm doing the best I can, and to be aware of all the natural beauty that surrounds me, for it is uplifting to gaze at the miracle of a bloom. Your photos and stories are evidence of all that!! Take care and hugs for you. liz in mississippi
I had a nice, quiet 4th - could hear fireworks somewhere in the distance, but didn't feel motivated to go looking for any. I love that so many people celebrate our nation's independence.
Back at ya Naomi. Wonder if you can see fireworks from that wonderful view of yours?
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the day.
