There are no words.......
A little further away a minute later.........But, now.....let's take a closer look at this stunning, stunning Sunset....... My tree's....My Tree's.....And God's Sky........ And a closer look at Century City over on the left....the variations of color are breath taking....... And a closer look at that place in the sky that looked completely unreal....talk about variations in color.....I love seeing your 'Corot' like trees against that dramatic backcloth. You must feel on top of the world sometimes. Our best skies seem to be in the morning.
In case you don't see my answer to your comment I was wonderig if Jeanette's husband was Nelson's brother. Was it Gene Raymond?
They are beautiful. I havent had the chance to take any evening photo's of the sunsets here lately. Been busy getting ready for work or sleeping. I work 3rd shift.. Over nights. So I miss the beauty of the sunsets..
Naomi, those pictures are fabulous!!! Did you use a special lens?? I can't get shots like that.
The panorama you see from your balcony is better than TV, Naomi! Such fabulous colors and patterns!
I never get tired of seeing God's artistry. Never!
Hello Naomi! The photos are very beautiful. It is so dramatic and breathtaking!
Fabulous photos, as always. I'm back after a long work-related hiatus and am off to catch up on the posts I've missed.
Cheers.
This may be L.A., but we still can get some killer sunsets. Those are gorgeous shots Naomi!
Stunning photos Naomi...I never grow tired of seeing the sunset and the sunrise. Like you, I feel blessed to have the chance to take them in regularly. how can anyone question the validity of miracles after experiencing the glory of natrure's artistry?
ps. I posted a couple of photos on my blog of exactly where I was standing when I took that sun filtering through the pine. I posted in the piece I wrote on Monday. I have others too which I will share in upcoming pieces.
WOW!
'nuff said really....!
Simply gorgeous! It looks like the sky is alight, especially in the one with your trees. Their silhouette is wonderful against that sky. I bet you took lots more photos :) I know I would!
OMG THE COLOURS!! SPECTACULAR!
The west coast has the best sunsets and the east coast has the sunrises... last night I saw a fabulous moonrise with wispy clouds and a big, big almost full moon.... beautiful.... but the color of your sunset... outstanding!
Beautiful Naomi!!
Beautiful views, beautiful colors in that sunset! It'd make a great painting!
I couldn't tell you which photo is my favorite; they're amazing, Naomi...and you're right, they need no words.
Incredible range of colors. You have an unbelievable view.
I agree with you - There are no words.
Amazing shots and I know it is a beautiful place indeed :D
Oh, these are spectacular sunset photos. I see them at a distance from where I live.
Brilliant! I do remember the sunrises and sunsets when I was in LA back in the 90's! I use to be work for a youth organization in western Canada and for spring break we would take a group of teenagers down to LA for the week, then do a missions trip into Mexico. I also remember the smell, not the pollution! I loved that fresh spring air! AND LOVED the ocean of course oh and Disneyland!!hehehe! Beautiful photos
wow, those are some of the most beautiful shots yet Naomi!! Just gorgeous! ..yes you are lucky to have such a view!
Wow! What a gorgeous sunset! Really, you have a wonderful view from your balcony and you took great pictures! I would love to be there!

Nature is a great artist - I say that all the time
and your photos are so wonderful
Hi Naomi, simply wonderful pictures. What a wonderful vista around you. I am also blessed, as where we live, there are hills all around us. The sunsets here are great as well, but must confess, it is a rare occasion, when I view a sunrise. Am not a morn. person. Thank you for sharing again. Pat from NY.
PS. its 60 degrees here today, and we are expecting 6 to 8 inches of snow on Friday, am soooo... tired of snow this year.:)
WOWzer!!!
What a spendid, pastel sunset.
This is amazing, and witnessing it in person had to be breathtaking.
That is one gorgeous sunset.....and I LOVE sunsets.
Wow! Gorgeous colours!
It's pouring rain here right now. That good because it's washing away the snow.
Your words ring true Naomi. They are beautiful shots of te sunset - magical don't you think?
I love trees in black silhouette with the sunset behind them.
Thank you for sharing those. Indeed, it's very beautiful right now. I think we're getting rain tomorrow and for the next week. I can't complain --especially after the drought and fires!
Gorgeous photos of a magnificent sunset.
I have been having a LOT of computer problems; so getting around to see blogs or post comments has been a lot slower than usual. Computers-- I both love and hate them
Just beautiful, God's gifts that we often overlook. Thanks for sharing..
