Hard to believe, 2008 is almost here! How did that happen? Well, no point in asking---it just did! So, open up the Champagne! Pour it generously.....Put on that Sparkly Party Hat, And......Grab a pretty party favor...... Or Two......

And start watching that clock, as it counts down the hours and the minutes....toI wish you one and all a very Happy New Year....Enjoy whatever it is you will be doing on New Years Eve, and/or New Years Day, too, my dears....And, I will see you next year!
And here is a little "rare" New Years treat, especially made for all of you......

I don't know who made me smile & laugh more, Sweetie or you! He's so beautiful, you cannot look at him & not smile; he just lights up a room.
So, you got a new toy? I'm glad you figured out how to turn it off, although I was hoping it wouldn't be so soon. I can't wait to see more videos of him with you narrating.
I hope 2008 is a healthy, wonderful year for both of you.

Good morning Naomi....You keep as crazy hours as I do. Thank you for your comments this morning (or late evening where you are). Happy New Year to you too. The champagne is on ice, which isn't too difficult to do way up here in the land of snow.......and the tasty goodies are ready to be warmed up. Yes, the party is here this year. However, the weatherman is calling for 30 cm of snow.......and it hasn't started as yet. So, theres a good chance that either we will have complete no shows OR they will all show up in time and have to spend the night! Who knows??
Don't think you'll be having this problem in LA. :)

Your falling asleep during Waitress? Have been doing the same thing with another wonderful movie......"Everything is Illuminated." Have seen the beginning and end........it's the middle which I KNOW is really good....but keep nodding off. Highly recommend.
Also, picked up Sarah Polley's movie and will watch today......

Do we HAVE to have another party? I really don't like the year change because it reminds me of how fast time goes by. 2008 sounds too much like science fiction to me!

That was a good question you asked at LL about Floyd's growth. Your not the first to wonder that. I answered it over there.

I have laughed and just really enjoyed this...you are the happiest, most fun Blogger and deserve an award! First I loved Sweetie, Oh he is just something and I can tell you have him spoiled rotten...then your voice is so nice, you sound Hollywoodish, and young. And then when you couldn't get the camera off, oh, you are such a cut up aren't you? I laughed and laughed...that would be something like I would do, make a film and couldn't get it off!

I really loved this. You found the perfect way to go out in 2007! Give Sweetie a big old hug and kiss from the East Coast!

had this to say:

Naomi, your Sweetie is so cute. She definately knew she was on camera, but not interested in saying "Happy New Year".....I'm glad you are having fun with your new camera.

TF and I will be babysitting the grandkids tonight while our daughter and her husband go out and ring in the new year.

We had our fun last Saturday night at the home of friends who entertained friends and family. This couple has seven children who all play the piano, play an intrument of their own choosing and they all sing. The husband could have been a concert pianist, the wife could have been an opera star, but chose different paths. The husband is now a very successful genocologist, the wife is a stay at home mom. The entire family can sing unbelieveably well. We were in total awe of the music and it was the highlight of our Christmas season. What a joy!

Wishing you and your sweetie, a Happy New Year!

Indeed 2007 flew away so fast. 2008 over here is now here. I hope there are lots of good things in store for all of us. That champagne just made me crave for one again. Sweetie is so cute. How long did you have her. Thanks for visiting me and keeping my secret. Here's a simple message for you this New Year.....
We entered the year
with baby steps,
Ending it with a weary trudge.
So much has happened,
Just in a year’s time.
A year of growth and learning,
A year of bitter and sweet,
A year of old and new,
A year to place in our
scrapbook of life.
Now a new book is waiting,
It's pages pure and white.
New baby steps again,
A New Year to write.
This little poem comes with a wish,
T hat your New Year will be bright
That it's pages will be filled
With memories of much delight.
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
