I am sitting here, full as a tick with food from yesterday and today - and you are making me hungry with your chocolate and souffles. STOP it! I weigh too much already.
Hope you had a great Thanksgiving.
I'm with Kenju: my tummy may be full, but your entry has made me hungry again as well.
Popped over from Michele's to see what's up. Apparently, lots.
I agree with you about chocolate! :)
Love Mandy Patinkin and Bernadette Peters. I was able to see her in concert once...she is truly amazing. :)
that was a lot of fun. Thank you for your kinfd compliments on my recent picture. You made me feel good. I guess that is part of what blogging is about connecting and complimenting each other in positive ways.
That's a great meme. I'll have to steal that one from you. And I loved your answers, especially the smell.......mmmmmmmm......yummy!
michele sent me this time, but I'd be here anyway.
Well, here I am again, courtesy of Michele.
My husband's parents lived in Bayside - not too far from Great Neck is it?
I enjoyed that! Loved the pictures too. I have never made a souffle before. I don't know why really. I guess because I don't have one of those bowls you bake them in.
I also am stuffed from yesterday and today (leftovers I brought home with me), so your post did not make me hungry! That is a good thing! Otherwise it would have!
Hub had an aunt and uncle in Douglaston, whom we used to visit. There was a diner there (I can't remember the name) that we used to go to for breakfast. His parents are buried in Port Washington, and one they took me to the Washington Arms restaurant - and I had frog legs. Is it still there?
That's a great meme!!! I'll have to give it a go myself. :o)
That chocolate looked so yummy!!!
Michele sent me today.
Wow! My favorite drink is also water, from the sink!
Thanks for your nice comment on my blog, I hope you have a nice weekend OldOldLady Of The Hills!
Ok, so now I'm hungry!
Michele sent me! :)
That WAS fun... My blog host only allows one photo per post (as far as I can tell).
I just wanted to let you know that I linked to your JFK post today.
We have a lot in common. My favorite drink is also water & my favorite food is chocolate. What a beautiful tribute to your Grandma. I'm going to go back & look at your family pics.
Hi. Michele sent me! I am so pleased you did a meme. Of course, I am hooked on them, so to see you say "my first meme" made me smile!
Great pictures and I totally agree on the chocolate.
i love Mar, but your link seems to be broken. michele did not send me, i just came to visit. now i will head of to michele's... just wanted to swing by here first!
Lady, you did a great job! I love your pictures. Now, if I could only have some of your chocolate soufle with my coffee, my afternoon would be just perfect. Have a nice day!
Hi OOL - I'm in the middle of doing this one - but you've pinched my chocolate picture! I guess that might feature quite heavily in this meme:-)
Michele sent me here this morning.
Hi, OOL :-)
Nice meme :-) I love that picture of the heart, like a jigsaw puzzle....
So, you live in Hollywood, eh? any names worth dropping?
Morning!

Me again via Michele....

All hail the cocoa bean. Fine choice for a first meme. Thanks for sharing yourself through it.
Did you say Chocolate??? :) I see you are a chocoholic also!! LOL
Thank you for those kind words on my blog. I will be happy to send you those recipes. Just email me...there is a email button on my blog on the right hand side. (I hate putting email addresses on comments because spammers get them.)
Water is my favorite drink too. My grandmother's name was Violet, and yours was Rose. We were blessed with flowers for grandmas. I like the images you chose. I will do this meme one of these days. It is a good one.
We are still at my in-laws and will make the trip home on Sunday.
Enjoy your weekend.
Thanks for the visit.
I love show tunes as well. My brother was in the traveling company of Phantom of the Opera for eight years so we were able to go several times.
And your cat is absolutely gorgeous.
Popped in to see your choices as I did this yesterday and tagged Mrs A who mentioned that you had done it too!
Mmmmm.... Chocolate!!! Cadbury's Dairy Milk Chocolate is my fave :) I've got a craving now *wanders off to the kitchen in search of chocolate*.
One last thing...I LOVE the picture of your old high school. It wouldn't surprise me if it showed up in a movie sometime. What wonderful architecture!
PARADISE Found!
I spent a week on the Big Island about 20 years ago; I loved it too.
Hello, Michele sent me.
Fun idea for a meme--maybe I'll do that one on my site, too.
I wouldhave emailed this, but I don't have your email address. Here are the posts in which I have talked about Kauai or other Hawaiian Islands; you'll have to go into the archives and find them. Sorry I don't know how to link to them.

I love how good cold water tastes after you've eaten a bit of chocolate!
Thanks, OO, I'll psot more fans soon.
If you want to email me - do it at tickletwo@hotmail.com
hi hi, mishele sent me, but as usual, i would have come along any ways
Well, what a very colorful post. And fun to see that you live in Hollywood. How cool is that?!
Michele sent me...
You know, I started this meme a looong time ago & never finished it. I may have to resurrect it soon. I was having fun as I worked on it!
I really enjoyed seeing your images. Thanks for all of your nice comments! I'll try to get over here more often!
Michele sent me to see you, OOL of the Hills.
I don't think I'll be following you in this meme, OOL. Too many pictures to upload!
I was struck by the Great Neck one. My two closest friends in college were from Great Neck and Horseheads. I was always struck by the fact they were both from "anatomical" towns. Where I grew up everything was lake-something or other. Lake Placid, Tupper Lake, Loon Lake, Blue Mountain Lake, Lake George, Saranac Lake, et cetera.
Have you been up all night, OOL?
Or am I up particularly early today?
Michele sent me this time.
Glad you liked my Christmas post - it's something I feel quite strongly about. Cynicism kills wonder.

Michele sent me an hour and two mugs of coffee ago, but I was busy around the house while my pc was taken over to write a quick email. Which took this long. Have a nice sunday.
Mmmm Choccy Soufle.....
Michelle sent me
Done mine too
some fabulous pictures there, you really can almost taste the chocolate one. As you know I have done the meme too , thanks for stopping by and thanks for the comment
Neat! I love the history of places, too.
As an artist and someone who is drawn to heart images, I'm moved by your painting. If you have another one woman show exhibiting it, please let me know. I'm intrigued by others' work, especially when it's such a personal piece as this "Breakthrough" that is/was you. P.S. I also salivated over the chocolate but in a far different manner. ;)
Naomi, I love chocolate, too. Started with Milk Chocolate, but once I discovered Dark Chocolate, I never looked back.
I will stare at Heart Painting for a few days. What do I see? Well, first, I really like it. A heart composed of puzzle pieces. Is each piece someone or something you love? Are the blue pieces someone or things that bruised your heart?
Is the hole or unfinished piece people or things you have yet to meet or experience?
I like it. I like it a lot
