halloween!
Happy Halloween To One & All! It is almost here. And the Goblins are afoot, along with the Ghouls.....And though they are kind of scary....We Really Love Them!
OOOOOOOOOoooooooooo! Skulls and Skeletons. Flying Witches. And frightening sounds that go "bump" in the night.....We Love It! And We Look Forward To It Each Year......
Ghosts and Spirits are all around us and especially on Halloween! They come out to play instead of hiding.....Because this is their time.
So, I say to you.....Get dressed up in a fun Costume and go on out and say "Boo" to whomever you meet....
Eat lots of Halloween Candy....yes, yes, yes......like Candy Corn! There is nothing that says Halloween better than Candy Corn......
Unless, it's a little bit of Halloween Chocolates.....You know the kind I mean, don't you?
Oh, Yes Indeeeeedy! And some of these, too.....Halloween isn't Halloween without some Chocolate Kisses......Yummmmmmm!
But, whatever you do on Halloween, do it with your whole heart and soul.....Give yourself over to it......
Do it with your entire being......And remember........
More To Come........
Note: And anyone still not quite sure about how to vote in this election, please read this Rolling Stone article. It is quite revealing and tells us a lot about McCain that many people may not have known......http://www.rollingstone.com/news/coverstory/make_believe_maverick_the_real_john_mccain
Aren't you glad that Sweetie is not a black cat??? lol.
ReplyDeleteHi Naomi. It's been a long time since I came by.
ReplyDeleteHere's wishing you a 'frightfully' jolly halloween weekend!
Happy Halloween, Naomi. Good pictorials and a good link!
ReplyDeleteNaomi, Halloween has a special place in my heart for the following reason: the first house my wife and I owned was purchased from an assistant principle of the local high school. This is small town Missouri, mind you, and this gentleman was universally despised, and rightfully so. We took possession of the house on October 15. On November 1, I woke up to find a gargantuan mess on my trees, cars and everything else.
ReplyDeleteThe next year, I paid fifty bucks for a sign that said, "Mr. X doesn't live here anymore" and I sat out on my porch all night with a flashlight and ax handle to keep the vandals away.
Good times.
Not.
Cheers.
P.S. Although I'm a Baptist, I send my kids to Lutheran schools. Tomorrow is Reformation Day and they're preparing a play about Martin Luther thumbing his nose at the Pope. Evidently, although costumes are not allowed, candy is acceptable.
:)
Happy Halloween! Thanks for the link. I sent it to my Mom but it won't do any good because she already absentee voted the wrong way. Oh well.
ReplyDeleteLove your Halloween post, Naomi, what fun, particularly the last witch, lol.
ReplyDeleteOff to read your link. It is also interesting for us non-US citizens and non-voters, but the expectation is international!
Happy Halloween to you,my dear!
Happy Halloween Naomi !!
ReplyDeletelove the picture with all the dogs as ghosts lol.. that seems to come around every halloween... and it always reminds me of the movie ET when the kids dress ET up as a ghost lol
Happy Halloween, dear Naomi. Hope you have a fun day~
ReplyDeletehappy halloween, naomi! now's the time to indulge your craving for sweets. not too much now, ok? have a fab day! =)
ReplyDeletethank you for such fun Halloween photos!!
ReplyDeleteLove the dogs - they remind me of a crazy choir ;)
enjoy the day, have lots of candy
That's one neat looking carved pumpkin Naomi!! Candy corn....yum... I haven't had any of those in a long time!! You have flung a craving on me!!! Haha!! (It doesn't take much when it comes to sweets!!)
ReplyDeleteHope your Halloween is wonderful and there aren't too many spooks flying around those hills out there!!! XXX
And a very Happy Halloween to you, Naomi!
ReplyDeleteRay and I are headed to a party this evening. The host put together a 3 act play, called CINDYrella...yup, about Cindy McCain, John, Cindy's daddy Hensley and the 2 half-sisters. Yours truly is playing the part of Kathleen Hensley, the half-sister that only got $10,000 when Daddy Hensley died. It should be a hoot! I'll try and have photos on my blog this weekend.

Happy Halloween to you, Naomi !
ReplyDeleteBeautiful post today with all the Halloween photos ! It makes me candy hungry :)
What a fun post. We need to have fun and this was great with the good link to encourage people to be sure they aren't being trick-or-treated with this election.
ReplyDeleteHappy Halloween!
ReplyDeleteThat was a phenomenal article from Rolling Stone. Would you mind if I posted a link to it on my own blog? I would love to share it with anyone who remains undecided.
Happy Halloween!!!
ReplyDeleteWe get Rolling Stone mag at our house, even though we've never ordered it or paid for it.
We also get a magazine called Eating Well that we've never ordered or paid for.
Free magazines!! Isn't that neat??!
If any ghouls or ghosts come knocking at your place tonight, tell them to go away and head over to Jason's house and bug him instead of you.
:-)
Happy Halloween to you and yours Naomi. Did you have many trick or treaters come knocking on your door?
ReplyDeletehappy halloween!!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm off to the west hollywood carnival (lol) and a classical concert at Royce Hall.
But tomorrow is the big night--all souls' day-- when my dear ones--2 and 4 footed-- who reside in Pearly Gates Estates--come for their yearly visit. I'll have big shrimp for my dear husband, rotissere chicken for the felines, and pastries for anyone else from the past that may drop in.
It's only make believe that takes place beneath a paper moon, but it's good to be able to suspend disbelief, if only for one night a year
Trick or treat! I don't do tricks so you don't have to worry. Whoops, guess you're relieved to know that.;-)
ReplyDeleteYou come up with the greatest photos and videos.
Don't know how anyone could not have decided how to vote yet, but good you've provided a link to aid in the deliberation process for those still uncertain.
Noami- hope you had a nice quiet evening last night. I have lotsof candy left over to enjoy! Enjoy the weekend :-)
ReplyDeleteLove your Halloween post, Naomi!
ReplyDeleteYour post makes me candy hungry too!

Have a nice weekend!
