More To Come.......
Note: For those who believe, Mercury is Retrograde and I have had a lot of problems with my computer, my phone, my printer---you name it!.....They say one should just go to bed and not do anything during a Mercury Retrograde. I think that is good advice!
i love pictures of sunrises and sunset and cloud formations..it's just so amazing!!
beautiful pictures Naomi!
A very beautiful way to start and to end a day....the beauty at the beginning gives you strength to get through whatever the day has in store and the beauty at the end soothes the soul and gives peace for the evening. Thanks for sharing.
Delightful pictures!
I love photos of the sky--it's ever changing, isn't it. And for your electronic disruption, don't forget the solar flares!!
That last one is jaw dropping. We are looking at 4 days of rain so I will have to come here to see the sun. Thanks.
So far, neither Mercury nor the solar flares have done anything to my electronics. Toes are crossed.
Gorgeous beautiful Pacific Coast skies -- I miss 'em!
I especially love the sunset picture. I've always been fond of those pictures because I love the black of the foreground juxtaposed against the vivid colors of the sunset. So beautiful!
You have an amazing view from your deck - whatever what weather and light and shadow and clouds it may be.
Just now I'm in Germany - Full Moon...
Well it might be retrograde but you got some great photos of the sky. The sky is the real inspiration for me many times.
Problems solve themselves.
In the meantime, you post lovely photos.
Thanks.
Cheers.
I love looking at sunset and sunrise photos – of course I like to see them in real too but here we have too many pine trees to see the sunset and I get up too late to see the sunrise…. I used to look at a blog where he posted from the same place on his balcony a picture of the sky at different times of the day – every picture was different – even after a hundred or so. Do you still paint? Wouldn’t the sunset colors give you inspiration?
I especially love the way the clouds encase the sun burst in the second one. It feels so good to know those views firsthand. Feels like a dream we had together.
Good morning, Naomi!!!!
My spouse's family will not sign any contracts during retrograde. They have had this custom since about 1976. They all take it very seriously. If they are closing on a house, they wait. Buying plane tickets, they wait. I suspected you were having issues as I could not post on the peacocks, though I tried 3 different times. That blue is the most dazzling blue.
Love these views.
We are going to Italy in May for 2 weeks. Good Lord, there is so much info, so many books to read, and so much planning to do. If you would like a little something, let me know. We are hitting Venice, Florence, Siena, Cinque Terra, and Rome.
All for now. Spring flowers are in full bloom here in Arizona, though it is not the best showing due to lack of rain.
Much love,
Stan
XOXO
such magnificently beautiful photos, naomi - bur moreover, such a magnificently beautiful universe show you have there! incredibly wonderful! having access to such natural beauty cannot help but impact one physically and mentally, i think - all for the better - the wonder of it all - good for you - you certainly picked the perfect setting when you chose your home!
and about merc/retro - i follow it very very well, let me tell you! and times when i've not have all resulted in one or more of its little trickster glitches or other -
we've finally begun having a taste of spring here with the daffodils rearing their magnificent little heads and coming out in full bloom - our first spring bloom was a single gorgeous purple crocus - a thing of beauty for sure - and now, the daffodils! i LOVE them so much - just the sight of them lifts my spirits! yesterday i even passed some beautiful fruit trees beginning to bloom! and these little spurts of spring are wonderful but this time of year in louisiana cannot be beat and i miss it so much! everything coming alive in living color!
thanks so much for sharing your living color world, naomi! i always enlarge those images for the full effect! have a wonderful remainder of the day!
Beautiful. I love a lovely sunrise (don't see many sun rises!) and I love a lovely sunset. =)
Wow what a view Naomi... Your world is magical up there in the hills.. Thanks so much for the visit and your comment.. Hope all is well.
They are some lovely pictures. You seem to have so much lovely weather, even when there are clouds it manages to look scenic.
I clicked through in the first picture to try to spot Catalina Island, but I guess its a little bit to the left?
Wonderful pictures! I especially love that last one. The sunset is beautiful and it looks as if the sky could be on fire :)
What a view, Naomi! One could look at that everyday -- lucky you!
Mercury retro -- oh, yeah -- I believe. Slow computer today, and I fear the work issues as we continue. My friend Jan has an interesting take on it -- she looks at where the sign is that it's retro, then evaluates and prepares for the potential issues that might bring in the groups she facilitates. Hadn't thought of that, but I'm going to experiment with it myself!
Those skies are so incredible and it is so important for use to take time to take in the beauty of the earth.
Lovely views from your deck Naomi. I especially love the sunset! Breathtaking!!! Hugs!!
Absolutely beautiful Naomi......just relax enjoy a drink morning day or night :D
Isn't there a song - I can see for miles and miles and miles?
And a changing scene too. Imagine what it would be like if one couldn't see the sky. It doesn't bear thinking about.
You have such wonderful things to look at, Naomi. If I had a balcony with a view like yours, I might never do anything else!!
Mercury Retrograde would be a great rock band name or porn star :)
I LOVE your photos, what a treasure your view is
Please hold on a minute while I take note of 'Mercury Retrograde'.
*sribble*
Gorgeous photos, reminds me of the time where we had views, not houses blocking views. It's not quite the same thing.
Your photo views are truly spectacular! I see some of those sky colors, but have to zip up the way onto Mt. Baldy Road to get a broader view -- but still not as magnificent as what you see with that tree border and over the ocean.
Have you considered your electronic gadget issues might be associated with the solar flares that have become more prominent? Just askin'?
Stunning pictures, Naomi! What a gorgeous view you have from your balcony. Yes, the sky looks unreal, magic!
Wishing you a pleasant week ahead.
Many hugs.
I always love the view from your deck! What a panorama of beauty!!!
Some photos at mine for you, Naomi.
I love skyscapes and you have a fantastic big (if you know what I mean) view from your home. The sky is like an ever changing canvas isn't it? Thanks for sharing your view :)

First time I ever heard of Mercury Retrograde, we were selling our house. Astrologer told us not to make any contracts, but I thought it was nuts. We signed the contract, and the house caught on fire. THAT got my attention! Now I pay attention!
Gorgeous sunsets this time of year!
One of those photos looks like out of Gone With the Wind. LOVE them all.
Mercury in Retrograde, that explains a lot! Lovely photos :-)
Wow, just wow!! I love these photos, all of them. Isn't amazing the way the same view can look different every time you see it? Stunning shots.
God created a beautiful world. :)
They are beautiful photos Naomi. You have such an artistic eye. I have been away from blogging for nearly six months for one reason and another. But now have more time. Hope you are well. I have thought about you often and will have to catch up.
