More To Come........
NOTE: I thank each and everyone of you who came by and who commented on my last post.....I was bowled over by the amount of comments....And to all those who commented for the very first time, I truly appreciate knowing you are out there reading my blog.....I will stop worrying and wondering about the possibility of boring you....Thank you all so very much for your deep vote of confidence....All I know is, you can't write long posts like this on Facebook and Twitter....So, I'm staying right here for as long as you will have me and for as long as I have the energy to keep on "keeping on".......
Dear Lady,
Thank you so much for sharing Sweetie with us. He truly is a beautiful cat with such a warm personality that it comes through in all his pictures. A perfect model for such a gifted photographer! I truly enjoy your blog and I wanted to let you know that it never fails to bring sunshine into my day.
oh my.. what a beautiful, beautiful centerpiece! I especially love Sweetie checking out the flowers!! and of course your closeups of the floral arrangement are fantastic!! I am looing forward to the ladies that lunch birthday pics!!!!
When I first saw that tail shot I thought,"When did Naomi get a poodle?"
He does look grand in his "do" and it has to be comfortable. Does it help shedding--- my cats drop hair as they walk.
So glad so many commented to let you know they are still there. You definitely do not bore.
The tease worked. Still waiting to join the party.
Once again, a flower post to brighten my morning and send me off with a smile. Thanks, dear.
Cheers.
I wish I could get my mom on-line to view your blog, she'd love your photos, history and Sweetie. Her cat, Smokey, is her pride and joy. She had a computer years ago and never could overcome her frustration with learning new technology. She's fine when someone else will sit next to her and do the typing, but alas, I don't live close enough to do that. Also, very nice pictures!
Dear Naomi, I am so sorry that the post about Ladies Who Lunch disappeared... Blogger sometimes is very frustrating...
But we have here lovely photos of your dear Sweetie and I am glad I can see your adorable pal!
Love these flowers! What a beautiful combination of colors.
I am looking forward to see photos of Ladies Who Luch soon. I wish you good luck with this post.
I think Sweetie is the coolest cat around. Your photos are -- as always -- simply fabulous!!!!
You have a great birthday celebration and love the flowers! Handsome kitty too! I love to read your posts! Beautiful nature all around you!
Sweetie must be the best groomed cat in the history of the world! He better appreciate all the flowers you shower him with.
Beautiful close-ups of the flowers and Sweetie.

Thanks for posting photos of Sweetie. He is indeed a beauty and reminds me of our wonderful all white cat; long gone but never forgotten.
Van made beautiful flowers for you (yet again), Naomi!
ELEVEN!!?? Good looks run in the family! So pure, almost doesn't look real. (Sweetie) I just want to pet him for a minute...
Sweetie certainly is beautiful. He and Killian are close in age - Killian was 14 in May...
Love the flowers...
My grand-dog Tessa just came back from the pet beauty parlour too, all sweet smelling and shaved and as soft as a baby lamb, just like your dear Sweetie.
Your flowers are beautiful. Van can always be counted on to do you proud when it comes to floral arrangements.
I had to laugh for a moment when I read your title because I actually call my husband "Sweetie" and he looks nothing like your Sweetie except his hair is getting very grey - almost white! Your Sweetie is absolutely beautiful and I understand your love for her.
So glad to see some photos of dear Sweetie! Cats are such good companions and so sweet! I love his little lion-like tail! Cute!
The flowers are lovely and I'm looking forward to the birthday luncheon post! Hugs!
We were in Long Beach to visit our daughter and I am catching up now. Belated Happy Birthday. I read your post - it was enchanting and I learnt a lot. Your birthday dinner looked so nice – it is good that you have such wonderful friends nearby. That patio is certainly inviting and green.
Your Sweetie is a gorgeous looking cat. We have two cats now, a grey Korat female with emerald eyes names Mitsou and a golden long hair male called Cody. They are such great pets and are family for us.
I have to tell you that when we were in Long Beach with my daughter a week or so ago I found out that my first cousin from Egypt, who I had not seen for a few years, was going to stop in North Hollywood for a couple of days. He was coming from Japan and was on his way to Egypt. We emailed each other and decided to meet in Hollywood. My husband, daughter and I took advantage of being close to visit the Paramount studios. I had told my cousin we would meet him at Musso and Franks Grill for dinner – because I read about this restaurant on your blog. When we arrived at the restaurant we saw my cousin standing in front of the restaurant – the doors closed. It was a Monday and they are closed and I did not know it. If felt ever so very stupid for not having checked. We went to eat next door, which is a newly opened Lebanese restaurant. There were few people so we did not feel bad to stay there a couple of hours. Next time we go back to Long Beach we’ll go back to Musso – during the week!
I read your blog all the time just don't always have something to add or say.
I love your kitty and his haircut. Cats are funny with flowers. When Jake was alive we could never leave any flowers out that contained baby's breath. There were a few times when we didn't pay attention and he'd bring a whole vase of roses (and all that water!) down on the floor. And it wasn't the roses - it was the baby's breath that he was addicted to.
I love the first two pictures the most. Sweetie is so cool in the first one and the second one reminds of many pictures I have of my cats... lol
oh dear! i'm so sorry that you lost the post that you were working on. but, can i just say, your photos turned out to be absolutely perfect!
and, for the record, it *is* heart-warming to have a little buddy and you, dear lady, are *not* boring! :)
Beautiful kitty tat.. I love how he has that little poof on the end of his tail.. I love seeing Sweeti.. He reminds me so much of my snowie.. She is only two years old but she reminds me so much of eachother..
I hope you had a wonderful day and I cant wait to see and read about the Ladies Who Lunch..
Sweetie and flowers go together like tea and poetry. I love the softness of these compositions.
I have been very frustrated with computers in general, including my blog in this last year, also with changes (like the new version of Microsoft word and my new computer) that are supposed to be improvement but they aren't! They seem to keep us jumping through hoops!
But I'm into blogging for the long haul. So glad I'm not alone.
Gorgeous flowers! I can see why the kitty was so enamoured!
Hey Naomi, I can see that Sweetie appreciates the lovely flowers and I must say what a great combination to see kitty next to the flower ;)
Never in my life would I have thought that I'd freaking LOVE a photo of a cat's butt. But I do. Seriously. That photo with the pom pom tail showing is adorable!
I'm not sure why blogger isn't saving your post as you type it, it should do. Every time I write a post it just automatically saves it as I go along, often before I'm ready for it to be saved.
Your Sweetie is the most adorable cat I've ever see. There is something about him that brings a lump to my throat and I don't know why!
I'll let you into a little secret. In the room where I work on my computer - it's really a spare bedroom but no-one is allowed to sleep there except me if MTL has a cold- and there is a circular table with a vase of flowers, a photograph of Mum and Dad taken in Porugal and a beautiful photo of Sweetie photographed by his Mum. Of course he dominates the room.
I couldn't sympathise more about your blogging problems. Yesterday I couldn't put my pictures on Picasa and discovered the memory card had disappeared from my camera and I finally found it under my foot in my UG slipper. Go figure:)
The flowers are beautiful! Van never disappoints, does he?? As for Sweetie, how adorable is he with that pom pom tail? I love the way he follows you around but respects your computer time. Sweet AND smart! :)
I can't wait to see what's inside those goodie bags and I'm looking forward to hearing more about your birthday lunch!
Hope you have a wonderful weekend, my friend, and I hope blogger becomes more user friendly again soon!
Flowers and a kitty. Two of my most favorite things. And you had them both on one table... how utterly lovely. :)
