INTO WHAT VAT OF DELETED BLOGGER POSTS WHICH WE WILL NEVER SEE, DID THIS POST GO?????
I'm so sorry. I hate when that happens. :(
that is exactly why i use a little free program called Windows Live Writer... i do all my posts in it and then just one click ("publish") puts it on my blog.
I am sorry this happened and know how it feels! hugs Naomi
Let it all out!!! I know what you mean! I had some posts ready for the whole week and on Monday blogger decided to publish my FRIDAY one complete with the date 1-8-10 - I think it's gremlins!
I am so sorry, Naomi. We all have trouble of one kind or another when Mercury goes retrograde!!
Think I will save this post for when it happens to me. Nothing is more maddening.
Hope mercury behaves itself and lets you come back to us.
Breathe deeply, pop a cork on something delicious that goes with chocolate and remember Scarlett's proclamation: "After all, tomorrow is another day".
Not that you need advice at this moment, but I've learned (the hard way) that attempting to cut and past while in "compose" mode is the fastest way to lose a post. Better to be in "html" mode when you write.
Sorry about the screw-up. In times like these, I recommend a Bloody Mary, hold the tomato juice.
Cheers.
I have had that happen but I didnt have them saved. I had just did the post and it dissappeared on me... I hope you do find time to redo it sometime..
I am so sorry. I know we missed a real treat! Hugssssssssss to you, Naomi!
What a bummer. If you have some luck... check your "Drafts" through your dashboard. Maybe blogger's autosave feature caught some, if not all, your post.
Best wishes for '10
Oh... I HATE it when that happens!
I'm so sorry.
I'll trust you had a wonderful party.
You always do!
And thanks for commenting on my David Niven post. Ah, he was wonderful, wasn't he?
Hmmm... sounds like you need a little pick me up. I gather you like/love chocolate... try to eat that with a gas of good red wine (especially with dark chocolate).
If That doesn't work for you... perhaps a fine single malt from Scotland.
Happy New Year and don't let Blogger get under your skin.
This is just awful, Naomi, and to think we're missing out on the other half of your celebration because of a Blogger error...makes me want to go on strike right along with you (although I just posted and everything went fine)! I've had one or two posts disappear like that and turn me off of Blogger for a few days. I do hope you find that "eve of the new year - part deux," and share it with us if you do.
For now, just know we are here and will continue to come back for more...even if we have to wait.
Hugs to you, my dear friend!! xo
Well, i heard that primal scream all the way up here in the Great White North! You still sounded glorious and beautiful and "in key!" How did you do that??? :)
RAGE ON Naomi! Give it a GOOD Blast!
Blogger is truly a pain in the arse and have considered moving to another locale, but when I've tried to do that (wordpress) I got hopelessly lost.
Oh boy that sucks soooo much!! I hope you find the energy to redo it!
I also hate it when that happens. I try to save them regularly as I go but sometimes I don't and it don't and grrrrrr
Believe it or not, I actually loved this post. It had energy, it had passion, it had expletives, it moved me. Thank you. *roaring laughter* I can relate having lost too many posts the same way.
I am sorry to hear that. It happened to me too on several occasions. It's really a bummer.
I am sorry, Naomi.
Sometimes I also have troubles with Blogger.
You did a very expressive post about this problem.
Many hugs to you.
yup, some days are just like that, aren't they
Been there, it is as frustrating as you have illustrated!
