anniversary

It is four years that I have been blogging...I can hardly believe it..! Where did those four years go? Okay. The BEST part of blogging, besides writing about anything you want.....The Wonderful People one meets! And I am no different when it comes to that. I have met so many special dear people from all over the world, in these four years. AMAZING.There are some people who have been reading my blog---for almost these entire four years....dear Rachel ('Sliding Through Life') in Kentucky and dear Judy in North Carolina and dear Sonia in Brazil.....All on my sidebar.....these are the three who come to mind immediately. Plus, Chickie in Florida and Colleen in Virginia, and Deana in Virginia, and Mar in Spain, too.....More wonderful people came along pretty soon after in those first months, and they are all on my sidebar, like DesLily, Jammie J., Jamie Dawn, Joared, Mamacita, Melody, Pat @ Pi, Rain, Shionge, Terri, and "VV".....most of them came in that first year...And Craziequeen and Jane both of whom were early followers but haven't visited in a long time.....And many many others, too....So many wonderful people, all younger than me---but ageless in their attitudes and caring.....And then everyone else who has come along as time has gone by, all really special wonderful people......and here we all are, four years later......WOW!It was Danny Miller ('Jew Eat Yet'...side bar) and his dear wife, Kendall Hailey, who got me started blogging....Kendall is the daughter of two very very old friends of mine here in Los Angeles...the wonderfully talented playwright Oliver Hailey---gone from this earth now, and his dear and incredibly talented wife, the exquisite writer, Elizabeth Forsythe Hailey---otherwise known as Betsy. Kendall was a little girl when I first met her...now, Kendall and Danny are married and have a dear sweet little baby boy, and Danny has been blogging for much longer than I have! Much inspiration about life, love, children, talent, and deep deep caring, can be found on Danny's Blog. And as to my four year Anniversary.....Who knew? Who would have guessed that Blogging could and would, connect me up to so very many wonderful special people---from Norway and Australia and New Zealand and The United Kingdom, (many many dear and wonderful people from the U.K......) And Singapore, etc., etc., etc.......Who would have thought that I would still be "blogging", and now starting into my fifth year? Certainly Not Me. But here I am. Still here. I congratulate myself for hanging in there for these four amazing years......! And I thank each and everyone of you who come and read my blog, with all my heart. You all enrich my life greatly in so very many ways. And you know what? It would be great fun if those of you who never comment decided that today was a wonderful day to just say "HI"!

More To Come...........

Happy 4th anniversary! I have been reading your blog for at least a year and do not think I have ever commented. You write so eloquently that I think my comments would be inadequate. Thank you for sharing your experiences and allowing me to see places I would never see otherwise. Your gift for photographing flowers is amazing as well.

I've been a "lurker" of your blog for over a year....I don't seem to have time to blog myself, but, I have thoroughly enjoyed reading yours. I love your zest for life and friendship.....your joy over the beauty of nature and the preciousness of friends leaps off the screen from your blog and brightens my day when I read it. Congrats on your 4th anniversary - here's wishing you many, many more happy years of blogging!....vicki

Dear Naomi,
your blog is one the best that exists.
You are simply a great storyteller, and it reveals your profession through many years in entertaiment.

And I must admit, talking to you on the Phone, is really something that spice my everyday life. I wish I could find the opportunity to just pop over for a Lunch. But - it's a long way from Oslo, Norway, to the Lady in the Hills.
But never say never....

btw. Do you know who id 50 on Oct 5?
It's Mrs Lifecruiser. Present in Prague.
RennyBA and I ordered a special Breakfast Room Service with Flowers and Champagne this morning.

4 years of blogging. Fantastic. You started before me.
Let it be many more years, my dear.

Hi Naomi: I found you thru Rick Rockhill's blog and it was the greatest find for me.

I enjoy reading all your stories of old Hollywood, going "sightseeing" with you, and peeking in on "Ladies Who Lunch".

You have taught me some savvy photo skills and provided wonderful MS info to me via mail. It was great to talk to you on the phone - not too many bloggers do that, so I am thankful.

Happy Anniversary, may you blog for many more!

Love,
Anne

Congratulations belatedly on your anniversary blogging! Am delighted to have found your blog when I did so soon after I started blogging. You write such fascinating pieces, share truly lovely photos making visiting here a true joy and pleasure.

Wish I could have seen your Broadway show and enjoyed more of your productions during your active performing days. Meanwhile, I appreciate your personal accounts of some of your life's treasured highlights.

Photos and commentary associated with your residence"s striking and colorful landscape are always enjoyable -- especially now that I'm converting my front yard to more drought resistant growth.

Have occasionally visited Danny's blog and enjoy it.

I was just perusing your halloween pics - I did the witch slammed into the tree thing a couple of years ago (only she hit the post on my porch). She was accompanied by a sign that said "don't drink and fly".
Keep up the wonderful work, I look forward to many more years of reading and seeing your experiences on the road of life.
