More To Come..........
Note: Update on Sweetie....! He is holding his own and they are monitoring his insides every day with Ultrasound, to make sure there is nothing untoward happening---I won't go into specifics about that except to say things look pretty good, at this point. The growth they removed was Cancer, but the doctor feels they got it all and this kind of cancer does not respond well to Chemo, so that will not be an option---and to be truthful, I wouldn't put him through that anyway---this has been hard enough on him...! So....once he is eating better and pooping better and does not need to be monitored daily and his sutures come out...He will be able to come home to me....I did visit him, which was wonderful----they brought him out to the car since I cannot go into the hospital with my Lung Issues....It was great to see him and he is one strong little cat, I tell you.....We had some nice quality time together, and I will try to do that again, if I can arrange it.....Anyway....thank you all for your prayers and healing thoughts for my little honey boy....I know it all helped!
I hope your New Years Celebration is a lovely one, my dears.......
Happy New Year to you, dear! May 2012 be a healthy and happy one. Glad to hear Sweetie is recovering well.

my dear lady - i am so very sorry to have been out of touch for such a long time - this past couple of months has been filled with so much sadness and sorrow and i've not quite worked through it all yet - then, this week, some sort of silly head/nasal/sinus/chest bug landed full force and i've not wandered far from my sick bed on any given day - but i have thought of you and hoped that things were going well for your precious little sweetie - so glad you and he got to have such a wonderful visit - i know he will continue to improve so he can come home soon! - in the meantime, dear friend, my deepest regrets for having been away - i've missed coming by - am sending all my wishes for a magnificently healthy and happy new year filled with love peace and happiness! with much affection - jenean

ReplyDeletedear naomi - just a quick note as i drop by to see what's new at your place - yesterday i was determined to be upright all day for the new year etc and even managed to cook our NY early dinner, except for dessert which my dau made - an old fashioned southern new year's dinner - port roast [smothered in louisiana hot sauce, soy sauce, garlic and black pepper] w/collard greens, blackeye peas w/stewed tomatoes and bacon, and of course, cabbage sauted in bacon drippings - with down home cornbread - dessert was deep dish apple pie and a plate of brownies - sweet sweet iced tea to drink - girl, it was just too good! after i cooked it all, however, i was too tired to really eat much - a good thing in many ways - anyway, it felt good to be up and about after weeks of not being - today was cold and windy but sunny so that was nice and i went out for a bit this afternoon - so each day now a bit more - gee, how i've rambled and i intended only to drop by for a quick how are you and sweetie! hope all is better on that front - and that you've a gorgeous week, dear lady!
ReplyDeleteMy sincere condolences to you in this sad time. Words fail me, my friend. You are in my prayers.
